I'm pretty sure this isn't a forum to convert anyone to Mopar...You two remind me of the neighborhood Jehova's witness. You guys have SRT8's, Great! You've got some work done, great! I will PROMISE you that the mods he has done to his Charger are not enough to take down a PROPERLY RUNNING H/C/Converter LS1. Seen a 228R cam with a 4k stall on a 130k trans am run 11.90's a few weeks ago. This is a normal run time. An LS1 with an MS3 and converter running 12.0's is horrible. Yes indeed he is a troll.

dude, just stop. He is talking about my camaro in those vids. I have MURDERED multiple "stock" and bolt on c5 z06's. Him racing one, would just make the c5z look bad, seeing as he pulled me and I pulled c5z's pretty bad. Worse then he pulled me in that video off bottle.

and last time I checked, a stock ls3 c6 is faster then a c5z, no? well I walked several of those too. Off bottle of course. It wouldnt be fair if I hit the whoop *** switch.

The week after these runs in that video, he ran mid 11's @ 120 before his motor blew up. You must be on some serious good **** if you think a stock c5z can beat a 120 trap car! ****, every single stock c5z I have ever seen run, doesnt trap higher then 113. I have seen a few bolt on ones trap 115-116 but nothing near 120 without a cam.

and dont start posting time slips and videos and **** of other c5z's running these times bla bla. We are talking about in our area, where both our cars are. It doesnt matter what they run down in florida, or california...I shouldnt even need to explain why,

My best time in C5 Z06(03) in Albany NY at Lebanon was 12.3 at 116MPH in September. Guy with us with an 01 was about 1 tenth and 2mph slower. That just about where you trap. My times at Lebanon in three of my cars is about 2 tenths and 2 mph slower than Cecil which is a fast track. 113 for a Z up there I guess would be in really bad air.

everytime I have been to the track, it was mid-upper 80's and humid. I am sure if I went on a cooler late fall evening I could trap much better...

that still doesnt mean that the higher trapping car is going to win on the streets.

my buddy had a bolt on 01 c5z. He went mid 12's @ 115 with it. From a 30 roll to about 130 I was out 4-5 cars on him.

then my other friend had a 99 frc that was full bolt on's. He went mid 12's as well at the same traps. Same results.

if anything, you just helped by proving my point stated above with the claim a stock c5z would walk that charger. I think not.

Paywithdeaths cars performance is extremely misleading unless you know the details of the entire setup. People hear charger and automatically assume 4000+#... Not his fault but he also doesn't freely give that fact out from the posts I have seen.

Hint: When he races it doesn't weigh as much as a small mobile home.

Our series we race at is 4000 weight minimum. I always try to stay right around that area and that is bogarts all around, rear seats and passanger seat out, empty trunk with no spare etc and me in the car (170 lbs). Before the failed oil pump i was ripping out mid 11's at 120 is about 1400 DA. Im not saying i have the fastest car in the world or o am better than anyone at all. I love the kill stories on here, ive asked for help in certain areas because i know people know a lot more than me in some areas etc.

Really? Cause from what ive heard, the member you raced was skeptical of you too....stating something about your unwillingness to pop your hood. I guess that makes him a Rutard too huh? I'll have to get more details from LT/LS as he is the one with the PM. I don't give a damn how much weight reduction is done to that tug boat...or what mild combo you claim rolls out on cammed & H/C LS1's like that. People will believe anything nowadays.

Id love to see the PM's. Sorry your junked slow and would get rocked by a 5.7 charger. Id be mad too. I dont know a thing about nitrous, nor do i use it. So whatever youre hearing is your imagination. Should look at the 10 others with a similar combo running 11.5's just as i was also. I never said heads/cammed. I said cammed. From what i have learned, on ls motors when you add ported heads it really wakes them up. I went 11.50's at 120 and thats nothing to write hone about. I had the record for fastest na 5.7 for a few months and someone has since beat me.

Paywithdeath... Save yourself the headache. Go ahead and post up your FULL mod list. Weight reduction (race weight, the lowest you race with)/converter/gears/cam specs/heads with flos #s if you got them/intake.... Rwhp/Rwtq numbers.... ET/Trap.

Anybody who has any sense to them at all will be able to make up their own assumption. The brand loyal swingers won't even read it and just keep on blabbing about whatever it is they blab about.

My assumption... I don't care what the RW # is, I don't care what the RWHP number is.... mid 11s@120mph with 1300+DA will bitch slap 98% of cam only setups and 75% of H/C setups on fbodys, and all stock C5Zs. I'm going to assume high 1.5 short times, possibly low 1.6s on an average night. It obviously pulls nice up top.

Stg1 Ls6 casting with a nice cam should gain a solid 40Rwhp. Stock ls6 head 20Rwhp..

AFR or the like 45Rwhp and a nice fat gain under the curve.
