yea the ls3's can self adjust as well, but the l99 pcm is stupid. im glad i didn't buy the auto. ive heard about the #8 piston issue i guess people need to know how to tune the 5.0's properly. i wouldn't be taking that car to just any tuner

Tuning seems to be key in the 5.0's.

If I would have been smart I would have bought a auto 5.0 and just went with a 4500 stall for the track. But the manual is so much more fun on the street.

My friends G37 pulled 1 1/2-2 cars from 45 to 95-100mph, i know i was driving the L99. If its a V6 the OP beat that is a stout 6 then, lol.
I want to run you and your friends G37. Sounds like a good race

Damn, that's crazy. I know I saw a video, now I don't know how true it is, but with just a tune a new 5.0 had cam overlap??!! I've only met one guy around here with one and he didn't know much about it lol. He looked embarrassed when I asked him questions about it. He also said the transmission feels like a stick in the sand. LOL.

Good kill but i thought you would have murdered one by bus lengths if GTO's run away from c63's with ease.

GTO's seem to be all over the board roll racing wise.

That is a sick sounding mustang, iv'e been hating myself because i really love the new 5.0. Compared to the new camaro and challenger i think its the best new muscle car out today, besides the vette of course

The races were going up and down a 6000 foot moutain, so that effected the results as well. I believe heavier cars have an advantage going down hill???

I think with power/weight etc it is the best option for the money.

I don't consider the Vette a muscle car more of a sports car.

I thought it had a sufficient cross wind.
