Still has all creature comforts, interior, I can get in it set the cruise and go anywhere comfortably. How is that a race car?
Hell yea!! That mph will win more street races then that et will. Remember you can't leave as hard on the street as you can a prepped track. I basically leave the same street and track. I wish it could leave a little better....and I'm working on that, but not at the sacrifice in handleing when I have my 18's on it.

By lookin at the records 122 has been it for a 5.0, and that's in a full drag car. So with the info I have, I would say that's a fact unless you find something different. Which one is better?? who knows. It probally depends on what your trying to do with it. I would say in this situation....ls6 all the way.

It weighs about 3050 w/o me. I think I can get to upper 2900's with out me eventually and still have everything. The rear I'm trying to build a rear that should be lighter by about 20lb. I'm comtemplating a nice set of race seats that would save maybe 25-40. Rear seats and everything still in it now, and will stay in it. Car actually looks pretty stock minus the carbon hood and wheels.

It had an LS7 making 550rwhp so no. It is a 2006 z06.
If anyone believed I was actually doing that they are crazy. I just took the cover off the wife's car and set it on the block on my ls7.
I love our mustang. It is fun and fast, but it doesn't compare to my C6Z for speed.
As for swapping motors, my friend has a cammed ls6 powered shelby cobra replica and that car rocks.
