I noticed a big big difference going from 93 to E85. The amount of timing you can put into the car is amazing. I keep a 93 tune and E85 tune in my trinity and just switch them when i want to. Works great.

Well hio and stopsign live semi close and hio has offered a few times to meet halfway but stopsign wants hio to drive all the way down to him. The ball is in stopsigns court on that one he has to accept it.

If I were to guess; I would think that Hiho's car is faster than Stopsign's; but I haven't seen enough info on Stopsign's car to say for sure.

If I knew someones car was faster than mine; I wouldn't waste my time and gas to meet them half way either.

Ya with bolt ons I know it can make around that. I know there is a guy with a 09 Z06 around me that has a C/H/I on his and he is about 650whp N/A. Its a pretty nasty car.
i thought about sending the heads out to get them retouched....but to me it just is'nt about how much power I can make or spending a bunch of money. I just like ****** with **** and seeing what I can do to the car to use the power better. That's what I enjoy....and it seems to work for me. I also use my car enough that economy is a issue....it's actually my economy car lol.

It's not to hard to get 600rwhp out of a na ls7 these days. The combo's are out there now.

I like hearing you ford guys cry when a stock ls motor just whooped your ***. Hell, I like out running h/c ls cars too.

A ls7's fuel cut is 7150 stock. The stage 2 cam moves power up 300-400 rpm. You do the math.

The point i failed to make i guess was you are always saying ford has to spin there motor's to 8000 and now you are talking about spinning an ls7 to 7500. I just do not understand how you try and make it seem like a fault for ford but you turn around and want to do the same with a bigger motor.

You do have to spin a smaller motor faster to make the same power as a bigger motor typically....pretty commen knowledge. Hell I like rpm, I've said the 4.6's are poop for n/a power.

03turbomach's car is a runner with a turbo on it. If you want yours to go like hell ask him about it.

Fuel availible in a certain region vs fuel availible all over the country.
So comparing your car or mine to a car in Cali isn't fair cause they can't get anything better then 91 to our 93???

WHat about cars that get to run no cats in there state with no issues, or don't get to run headers, compared to us that have to run cats, and ones that can run headers.

So when I lose to a car that is on E85 I can say well you on E85 I was on 93oct so it wasn't fair?

Not really much difference in 91 vs 93...hell I've ran my car on 89 with no issues. Not like picking up 20-30 hp on e85.

So you gonna check on that cam? 03turbo said he found it for $385. Still not sure if I wanna cam it. It should run the low side of 10's stock.

Used to take me about 9-10hrs to get from Va Bch to Cleveland, but if the two were going to meet halfway, they could pretty easily do it in less... They'd have to find a track near I-64 and I-77 or something like that and then each could take freeways to make the ride. Of course, Winchester is nowhere near Va Bch. from what I remember... Seems it's more near W Va. and may not be far from 77. On that note, Idonno what part of Ohio the other end starts the ride.

Maybe because you almost instantly lose about 20% fuel economy? It's not as efficient as gasoline, but it can make more power than 93 today.

The lowest Octane used without knock/ping... the better, where racing is concerned.

I will check on cam tomorrow. Have to call wife's work for it. I get GM employing pricing since she works there. I know on a LS3 intake it saved over $200 for a new one for example. Depending on how much it is and what not get 20-50% off.
