You are always wanting to meet people how come you have yet to answer when I said I will meet you when I get back from this deployment why I am on leave in Ohio. I will be pure N/A.
I said I would be down for that somewhere in this thread. I thought you were goin forced induction. Would'nt be much point then unless I had the ls7 in. The ls7 should be in by sometime in dec.....Then unless your forced induced there would be a point for you...lol. We'll see. When you get back?

I will have some forced induction on tap.

I am going with a N/A build on E85. Looking to make close to 530-550whp then will have a 150-250 shot on hand if need it. SO not worried about the LS7 less you plan on building it t o the gills which that is what the spray will be for.

Plus I will be lightened up a little I should have my cage in by then also. Long you don't consider a cage in a DD a race car.

I know a few guys running E85 in their bolt on 5.0's. They have seen gains of about 20whp. WIth cams/ported heads that will go up even more. Plus doing some research now with E85 and NOS. Looks like they love each other.

WOW..I will not spray that much. Just a 150-250 shot. Standard coyote 11.5:1 compression.

You just said you were gonna be n/a....???? The ls7 is stock. Now you wanna blow and spray your awesome 5.0 because you may not be able to keep up with another stock n/a ls. If it was built you would need both. I may put the gm stage 2 hotcam for the ls7 in it...still undecided on that.
N/a 5.0 vs n/a ls6 would be a good interesting run with both having bolt-ons.

I am doing stage 3 cams, boss valves/springs, forged internals and ported head tuned for E85. That is my N/A set up. Will also be adding a Nitrous Outlet wet plate kit some time after that is finished. I am not going with a blower. The deal wasn't worth it from Maggie. If you want a PM on details why not worth it NP.

Put your cam in it. Why not least get some more out of it. A stock LS7 will not be enough for my N/A build with us running same place. That I promise. Only way will be if you are a lot lighter. Figure your LS7 stock form will make what 440whp threw auto. I will be around 550whp with the E85. By that time I should have car down to about 3100lbs. Hopefully a little less before I add 215lbs of driver to it.

Actually it takes me 19 hours to get to Ohio. I live in Texas. Hence why I run at San Antonio Raceway. In the stupid 100* weather they had when I was home on leave from Iraq. But I go to ohio cause that is where all my family is besides the wife.

A stock ls7 will make 500+/- to the tire. Probally + in my application. I don't have a auto and I'm not real keen on runnin someone on basically a race fuel that is not availible all over the country....But I'll make a exception for you....you'll need it . So now you gonna gut the car too?

I am already at 464whp with bolt ons tuned for 93. JPC made 507 with reground cams and 93octane. SO ported heads, big cams, and E85 is very very possible on the stock cubs.

A stock LS7 in a Z06 makes 505 crank. So how going to make 500whp in a stock LS7???? And E85 is avialible all over the place. It is pump gas sorry you making more and more excuses.

And nope. Not gutting the car, Same stuff have planned from day one. Corbeau seats, back seat delete, and some other stuff here and there. We see how close to the weight I want I can get. WIth out losing stuff like stereo, AC, other DD stuff. I will not gut it. I truly drive mine everyday.
