I will be back from deployment in Jan. Central Texas Performance (IN Kemper TX)is doing it all for me. I know the owner and what not. He has a lot of big projects going on right now.
Besides mine he doing.
03 Cobra taking from 640whp to 800whp then guy wants to spray it to 1000whp
73 Camaro LSX454 TT build starting late fall.
His wife's 06 Mustang GT 4.6 Turbo build. Adjusting some stuff it has already made 550+whp.
My car of course
Plus he has a 800whp Termi his self.
08 GT Built 5.0 stroker with huge KB. Took Hellion turbo off cause guy had major issues with it. With turbo it was 650whp so far with some slight tuning it made 700whp on E85. (owner just deployed back to Afgan. He did two back to back deployments)
Also will be starting a 06 GT that will be getting a complete built 5.0 stroker as well. (Onwer just dropped off he left for Iraq about 2 weeks ago)
Just finished up a 2010 SRT8 Chally 440 Stroker.

Sounds good, and should be fun! That sounds like a typical work week here at Houston Performance shops. Always busy. One has 8-1000+hp builds in the shop right now.

I ran my friends 5.0.. Just got back from running it.. Had a passenger and he didnt have anyone but im impressed with my BONE STOCK ls1 did.. Still has full stock exhaust no lid (148k) We going to do it again tomorrow night this time it will be on video.. We only did roll though 3rd gear punch and i jump out a fender as soon as i get to fourth 5.0 starts to walk away from me but not to bad.. The faster we go it keeps pulling the most he got me by was about 2 cars..

40-120.. He had a auto i thought the thing was a 6spd .. I guess i was half right lol.. His automatic delayed him a bit from a roll. 1st race I got the jump then his auto kicks in.. I jump about a car hit 4th than he walks right back up and had me about 2 cars when we let off.. 2nd race we hit it at the same time i was heads up with him and as soon as i hit 4th i start falling behind. His car had 1500 miles on it..

And bring your vette I bring some imports that will whip your *** for you and well as some stangs. And by time you come I am sure my car will be back together and I will run you and don't think you will beat me like you think.
Fastest car around 2 cars here isn't one the TT Z06 vette's running around. Its a little old import and a Termi cobra.

Last time at the track there was 3 Fbody's running together. All had full bolt ons and cammed and stalled. None them ran better then 12.3@113. They ran in teh same shitty 2900+ DA at TAD as me. That night I ran multiple 11.9@119. Track prep sucked for all. Best 60ft I cut was a 1.9 compared to my usual 1.5-1.6. they was cutting the same 60fts as me. They where on DR's also just like me. Oh I forgot the C5Z that ran same times I did all night. He had bolt ons and cam.

My friend Jimmy had a bolt-on auto car that went 11.8 @ 116. It was really pretty basic stall/ full exhaust/ drag wheels/ tuned. I wished he would've tinkered with it some more, I think it had a little more left in it. This was back in 02-03.

Yeah, nobody thinks that a LS6 swapped, tastefully lightened 4th Gen F-body with a face plated transmission should beat a new 5.0.
