>.> uh no.
and you other guy talking bout a ricer blowing my doors off,
i dont care if i lose if its a good actual race.
but the only cars around here that have that capability are the infiniti V37s
or the infiniti G35s, i havent really seen any "ricer" cars that have a chance.
normal tuners sure, but no ricers.

Like i said, normal tuners such as 350zs, 370zs, Infiniti G35, Infiniti V35,
New nissan skylines, and one or two lancers.
A bunch or these have not been riced out, and would be fun to race or just talk about with the owners.
There are some very nice ones, a friend of mine at college has a car that is all wheel drive puts down 430rwhp that he uses for course racing and as his DD.
It would destroy my car but i would still race if he wanted to. just for the extra driving experience
as far as cars like mustangs- most of them are v6 and they dont mess with you in traffic, theres a few GT500s and some
new boss 302s, but nobodies messing around in those either.
New camaros, theres a good mix of v6 and SSs but i havent got to chase one down in a while.
Challengers, mostly v6- i think ive seen three total SRT8s in the last few months.

I raced an American skyline back in 06 and it was a decent pull. I'll admit, I couldn't drive worth a damn then but still pulle him by a car~ish.
I also remember back in 08 when I got beat real bad for the first time... Highway pull, bout 60-120 or something like that, srt-4 dusted my ***. He was gone. Fart can and all, although there was a cross pipe I could see underneath indicating obviously more extensive mods than the usual beefed up srt-4. Still the most memorable race I've had on the street.
Moral of the story, don't underestimate any car, but so long as your beatin up on slow cars, learn how to drive now so when you encounter that rich guy in the 370z, or that broke *** looking 240, you will at least not look like a tard getting beat by an import.
***** fun ain't it!

i havent posted in here for a looong time.
caddy STS-V (some work done to it) (465Hp)
vs
me 01 SS A4 (stock) on 245s
Unfortunatly for me and my buddy in the caddy, He was in limp mode and unknown to any of us at the time,my motor was on its last leg.
(yes racing with our cars in sub par condition wasnt our brightest idea)
We did two dig runs, the first one i barely pulled due to all the spinning.
The second i passed at about 90 or 100.
(After he fixed his car mine was down for a couple months.)
since then (5months-10months ago) ive put in a rebuilt ls1(stock) and gotten a tune.
im almost ready for a rematch, i know hes gonna drag me down the track or road but i cant wait. his car is awsome!
my other buddy bought a 09 Cobalt SS (turbocharged)
we have raced a few times, digs and rolls.
As it stands with my "new/rebuilt" Ls1 i get him from digs simply because he cant yet launch his car and the fact its FWD, and from rolls he has kept up with me until 100mph.
both great racers and im awaiting the day when i become one of their kills. It wont be long as the Caddy now runs perfectly and the cobalt is getting new
piping/ intercooler/ tune/ and new tires. He also threw some coilovers on it and has taken the seats out.
My camaro's tranny and rear are about done for....also just found out my front sway bar has broken its bracket out of the frame....time to go under the knife again...

To spice up this thread:
I was driving home today in my awesome, totally not awesome, minivan. It still has a headboard from ikea in it.
Anyway, pulling up to a light I noticed a srt4 in the other lane, so I prepare for lolz. The cool thing about this light is that it automatically turns everything into a race, pretty much every time, due to the two lanes merging two hundred feet after.
Being that I am on this road all the time, I know the timing of the light perfectly, so I sit in my comfortable leather seat, listening to Eye of the Tiger. Not really, I think the radio was off, but it is funnier this way. I see the other light turn red and moments later the light turns green. I floor it, unleashing all 180hp to the front tires. They squeal and I laugh, as I put a car length on the srt, who did not even remotely floor it. As soon as I pass him, I move to the middle of the road and take up both lanes until it merges.
He claims I was spraying, but it was only air freshener.
