Well dont feel so bad my brother took his SS to the track and was busting a 14 this past Saturday. Yes a 14 sec 1/4 and was blaming it on traction and a bad clutch but his car is a H/C/I car

I think its him or his car is really having issues. He said he couldnt get it into 2nd and he kept spinning. Think his 60 was 2.2 But the 14sec pass was his best time lol

How much should that combo make about 380?

My setup is a bit misleading... With a 4000 converter and 373s I made 377. Although that Dynos is a heart breaker. My setup on an average dyno would be more like 395-400rw. My 317s are ported and milled so that helps, but he is also an m6, 380 would be about right, without knowing the entire setup, maybe a few mo.

224/224 with non-milled 317's and supporting mods should be right around 400rwhp with an M6.

Wow, I didn't realize that guys go for the 317's outside of doing an FI setup. Wouldn't that hurt a bit as it would drop your compression? The main reason I went 317's was to lower my compression a little bit for boost.

Yeah, it wont make the power that 243/799 heads cause of that reason but thats why alot of people mil those heads because they flow the same. They still should make more power than a stock ls1 head cause they flow alot better

Mine are ported and milled. I don't have the flow numbers but I'm pretty confident mine do better than a stg 1 ls6 head.

I can run that in a stock f body lala. lol. That not a time to brag about either in a "cam only" fbody and plus thats a big cam you have.

How far can you mil the 317 heads down too, close to 64cc?

I'm not going to say because im not positive. Obviously it depends on cam selection as well.

Thanks man. Shooting for 6.9s when it cools down later this year.

The rims did look killer, I sold them however. Not sure what I'm buying next for it.
