Hmm, I was thinking at best right at or almost mid 12's with those mod's. Low 12's would be really, really fast for what you have done. I would think to run that with the power you're putting down, you would need at least some form of suspension work and a set of really sticky tires.

Must be nice to leave hard on a sticky tire without worrying about that toothpick behind you imploding. :/

Good kill on the bimmer Stopsign! Its a kill to savor when its against a snob type lookin down on your "white trash" mustang or in my case " bet his house has wheels" Camaro!

Speaking to the stereotypical BMW attitude, I'm sure they're nice, comfy cars and all refined but if I wanted that I wouldnt be driving a non A/C'd 10 Y.O. car with a faceplated trans and 9" locker that sounds a lot better then any BMW. Hell, I'd rather drive a 2V mustang just because of the awesome exhaust note! Refined kinda sucks next to brutal and in your face IMO.

I love reading different car forums, bmw Volvo etc forums, and just some stupid post comes in with facts about fbodies.... Then a person in the know comes in to correct them. Thy are closer but still way off.
I'm too damn lazy to register and correct them. Just a pet peve.

With my vette I mainly autox and we have 5 or 6 BMWs usually. One E36 M3 has a rotex sc with meth and he does very welll but he will admit at most it is a high 12 low 13 car. But damn does he know how to turn and shift.
The other fast beamer out there is E46 M3 and I have had the pleasure of driving. Very smooth simple turning car. You point it and it goes. 9k redline is fun too.

With me in my vette we are all 3 running nearly identical times with me winning on the more open course with a long stretch and them on the very tight courses. To much tq for airport taxi ways.

But then, there were the Bimmer-Walks-On-Water folks. It seemed like they got defensive, and had to indirectly justify THEIR choice of car because someone dared mention getting thumped by something that belonged in a trailer park. Let the fanatical LTH/Meth shot comparing, chip tuning, plastic interior begrudging bench racing begin!

Most lost track of the original goal: Just help this guy make his 335i faster.

This, unfortunately, appears to be common, even when not justified. Case in point: I recently had the joy of discussing replacement car options with someone who owned a 3-series that I wanted (to drop an LSx into ). They couldn't afford anything big or crazy, but absolutely wanted nothing to do with an American make. Period. They all sucked. The irony of this was that we were driving around in my G8 at the time, and the BMW was garage-bound with needed repairs. The car I suggested getting? A used Pontiac Vibe - made by Toyota.

Still not good enough.

*sigh*

Again, good kill OP. Next time, take his money along with his pride.
Agree completely

As someone that owns an obnoxious and intoxicating fbody and a refined, quiet and quick bmw I find both to be enjoyable pretty equally. I don't want to sacrifice fun driving a DD so having a quiet bmw that can run 12's without a burnout on the same runflats that I drive on during the winter really speaks to the practicality of it as a daily. To each there own, but I've ran some gnarly sounding cars and mine scoots away without much of a peep.

Nice, got any timeslips or videos? And hour and half drive to the track isn't that bad. I've done it on ET Drags before, then drove home on them.

Both, but most videos are from inside the car and the ones I have that friends recorded didnt get the times.

My only mods are AFE Stage 2 intake, Corsa Extreme, and a Tune

Slip

vs 2011 Charger R/T he only went 9 something at 78 i think

vs Stock 07 GT500
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsqacI4KhJY

vs Full Bolt on 2011 5.0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ebw4YPxgO7o

Ive also ran 3 members here.
MannyMan84: 02 M6 WS6 (Lid and Exhaust)

karpetcm: 01 M6 Z28 (Full bolt ons and tuned 350rwhp) neck and neck from a low 10-15mph roll up to 100 or so

BlueGoat06: 09 G8 GT (Full bolt ons and Tuned) at the 1/8th we ran almost the same time that night (8.3's) with me 1mph ahead on the trap speeds

also ran a 2010 LS3 SS that had exhaust, intake and a dyno tune and I nosed him out by a fender in the 1/8th. There is a video of it floating around on youtube that another member uploaded but I cant seem to find it.

I need to get to the track. I'm hoping when it cools off. Right now I'm in the air about if I want to mess with this car bolt ons and see what it can run. Truthfully to shut up some Mach1 vs LS1 arguments but at the same time I want to just start with the making power mods. Anyone have some advice (that doesn't involve GM)?

heres a pro charged and stalled mach 1 that went 8.5@88 and then a 7.45@93.94mph at our track but you can see that he had bad traction problems.
