Nice supra...in his thread sounds like he wants a rematch...and even then he said it will be close.

I am surprised he has a stock long block - for being 507whp @ 20psi, 92oct he did hold his own with 100hp down lol

Good run OP, and the Supra owner surely sounds like a stand-up guy.

I'm not. 500whp on a stock long block 2JZ is too easy. Cams and valvesprings really aren't needed until you go over 700whp and rods and pistons aren't needed until you pass 800whp.

I was surprised for the 700+whp part. I guess I was misinformed or just told by ppl that "play it safe"

They are sweet cars, great platform - too bad i cant afford one lol

Why? The POS supra already got drug once, why would he want it again? Just so he could make excuses?

Maybe if they went from a 8748754895 mph roll?

Just cause you Supra guys can see the thread! LOL Kidding

Great kill! Pulling a Supra on the highway is definitely an achievement

Probably had a lot to do with the fbody being an auto from a roll coupled with the peaky powerband that centrifugal blowers are known for. Definitely makes for a post worthy kill!

Theres a guy here who runs DMT, a dyno shop... He has a stock block 2jz and made 1044whp, the highest hp on a stock block for a supra in canada... amazing cars, tried to find one before I got my SS, but it was a little out of my price range maybe looking for an evo 9 next?

good kill, wish I had some spray on my car so I could have wicked runs like that :p

Was down for Woodward and saw a green supra parked on the side of the road probably around 15th. Could that have been the same one?

lol I checked the map - 18.5psi that night, so right around 480-490whp. The driveline is bone stock from cam gears to rear end, sans the clutch. The only real highlights are the 1000cc fuel system, single 67mm billet turbo, and AEM tuned by yours truly. Running the blue juice is a blast, but my wideband sensors don't like the lead. I'm gonna put meth and cams in this winter for 625whp the street and keep the race gas for the track.

Sorry bud, wouldn't have been me since I was in Vegas for work. But now I'm intrigued since the state-side numbers for green Supras is pretty low and I'm not aware of another green one. Anyway if you see me, shout at me! Street attire is below (same config as the race night) so if you see another besides this one, let us know! Not many in the area...

Pretty cool camp you guys have over here, too - thanks to those who complimented the car.

You both have some great looking and very fast street cars. I'd like to see both of you line up at Milan this fall.
