It would be hard to tell that car was trapping 120+ and running deep low tens.

It would take a great 60ft to run deep low 10s and only MPH in the 120s. I don't think either car is setup to run that type of 60ft. It's all HP on top. Two very strong cars.

Thanks! But therein lies some serious frustration...

Unlike 98% of Supra owners, I LIVE to drag this car. I've been bitten by the bug and I probably shouldn't given the year/color/blah blah, but f&*(k it, it's my car right? And I want that 35psi, 9sec slip. Well when I bumped into Dennis I was bringing it home from having the 6pt roll put in. I hate to accuse a friend, but since I picked it up 3rd gear has a solid crunch going in under high RPM/fast shifts. Either he power shifted it and killed the synchro, or my 0.2sec shifts at the track finally did it (11.1 was a few nights before). It's a heart-breaker without a doubt. I can roll race at any power level all day long...but I wanna drag!! I'll be back in full force in the spring, but I don't think I can swing the rebuild before Milan's closing in November. I'll try some last-ditch snake oil (Synchromesh), but if it's a disco party in the fluid when I drain it...FML.

LOL..I wouldnt say 98%..just depends on what area you are in. Nice runs, the 6765 is a pretty awesome turbo.

this is an awesome thread...with some awesome cars...

That supra looks so sick. If I saw it on the street, I'm not even sure I would waste HIS time trying to race him...

[QUOTE=Dego Red

Glad you were able to get on this board. I registered on the other, I can log in, but I can't post. Oh well.

Like I said before, I had no idea how your car was going to run, but after putting all the money into our cars like we do, I had to see what you had. And running out of road, because I had to get off there. I thought you were wondering what the heck I was doing, but I had to get off.

I would of loved to stop and talk. Especially check your ride out. Beautiful. I'm the same as you, I love all cars and car appreciate someone who puts pride and care into their ride.

Definitely one bad *** ride!!!

I'm always open for anything. I'd rather it be on a track anyways.

I'm ready for our rematch!!!

LOL, what's the score now Dennis? You might have a little extra after that last tune that you had done. But I'm game.

A lot of good people around here. Let's all have fun and respect our muscle cars and imports from HELL!!!

Michigan people, am I getting old? WTF is someone reving you when they pass you by mean?

Help me out on this one. I'm 40 years old and I think these people are just being tools or is there some kind of new thing. I pull up next to a car I want to run, get there attention or vise versa, especially in this Supra race, 3 honks and its on................

Why do people rev their cars? Help me out.

Dennis and Seb,

We need to get together before the end of the season. I am actually looking to go to the track at the end of September (will be home from a business trip on 9/22). If you guys want to go or meet up, definitely let me know. =)

There's supposily an open track day at Ubly on Sept. 23, with no issues on safety. So I heard.
