this thread makes me LOL. Alot of miss information here.

A bolt on mach 1 is not running away from a tuned, bolt on SRT8.

Find me a stock or bolt on Mach 1 in socal and I run will him on video and report back. Stopsign posted a SRT8 magnum ran 9's. I ran 8.2@88 with a predator, CAI and catback on 22's in horrible DA. Do the math.

Just to give you an idea what Mach 1's run at the same track I ran 8.2@88

KB mach 1 - 8.50@88
Stock Mach 1 - 9.09@80
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4_bt-OPEvA

Mach 1 - 9.03@80
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueapU6jw-OE

Mach 1 - 8.5@82
4.10 gears, magnaflow exhaust, tune, drag radials
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLiEl37GKcE

It would suck for these mach 1 guys to get beat by a 4000+lb 4 door with 22's and less then $300 in mods

he ran 8.5@82 with 4.10 gears, magnaflow exhaust, tune, drag radials. I ran 8.2@88 with a predator 91 tune not even the 93, AFE Stage 2 CAI and Corsa Extreme. I have 6 mph on him in the traps and faster by .3 with 22's. Shows which car is faster when properly driven. Like I said find me a Bolt on or stock Mach 1 in Socal and I will run him on video.

Modded Mach 1 vs Stock Charger SRT8

The first run you can tell he left it in D and on the Second he used auto stick. He was pulling on a bolt on mach 1 in a stock srt8

You have proved the point. Although we already knew Mach 1's are slow

Im not downplaying mach 1's but I know they are not beating a SRT8 stock for stock. Alot of guys in here are acting like the SRT8 is slower then it really is.

It's how the ford guys are on here. They try there hardest to make there **** look like it runs faster than it is and make it look like other **** runs slower than it does. To them a mach 1 is a drivers race for an ls1 f-body . And gt500's run with z06's and 4.6 gt's only need 1-2 bolt-ons to run with ls1's. Hell gt500's run low 11's stock now according to them. And of course bolt-on 5.0's run 10's. All of these things have been said by one of the ford nut swingers at one point or another.

Im guessing Ohioborn will be in shortly to let us know that they do in fact run low 12's stock . I just lauph at the 2v bolt-on thing so much because my stock 93 lt1 camaro used to put a beating on those damn things. It would be close to about 70 where I would start adding the car lengths quick. And that was with an LT1. 4.6 gt's are around mid 14 sec cars and idc what anyone says lol.

haha that funny ****. Unless I can tell one is heavily modded I don't even pay attention to them. I don't think I have ever ran into a heavily moded 4.6 though...

An extra 45-60 whp nets them 12.70's. ******* lol.
Slow like pre-5.0 GTs or slow like stock Machs? Actually faster than both.

Ever look at the Mach registry? Sure they may ET the same as the 4100+ lb SRT-8 but their trap speeds are lower.

That extra 48rwhp I picked up with a I/E, dyno tune and race gas puts them into 113-114mph trap speeds on a good day. Which means, from a roll, bolt-on LS1s have also lost to me.

When I had the SRT-8, I would be happy to take on any bolt-on Mach or GT (pre 5.0) from a roll.
