New street tires went on today. I can take a picture of the old ones if you like...there's no "launching" on 420 treadwear tires this worn out. You either stay above 1/2 throttle until 2nd gear and put the shifter in 2 so it won't downshift, or you **** with the guy. 1 of those is more fun 
Besides, it's not like I gave a ****. I put the ET streets on when I want to go out and really play.
EDIT:
Good excuse to go outside the office for a minute. These were bought half used 2nd hand from someone who ran them with too much pressure so they kept wearing uneven. All 295/50r15s blow *** anyway so I learned I'm better off buying what I can get cheap and spending my tire fund on drag radials.
New tires are Yokohama Avid S/T with basically no miles...guy got them and they wouldn't fit his car so I got them for half the price I could buy new crappy tires for. I'm putting them on when I get home today, might take them out and see if they're worth a damn.
