Are you being serious man, it is obvious they got out of it on that pass. That car traps in the high 140 range, it has run 9.56 @ 149. If he actually had 650whp that car should have no problem trapping 125, bolt on cars making 400-420whp are trapping 114-115.

Look at the rest of the cars. There is plenty that would be making around same HP as him not trapping 125. EVen the TT one went 125 but only ran a 11.3. And some them have cams and everything. To say it will trap 125 is a unknown for sure. I am sure the miata will run the 11.3 and faster with his weight of 2800lbs and 400whp. Specially with the claims of H/C/I Fbody's can go 10's at full weight that people here say is possible.

Stock C5 Z06's trap 117-118 and that's at 360rwhp and 3300'ish lb's...

There are 2 people with bolt-on 310rwhp Miata's trapping 118mph @ 11.7

I promise I'm at 125 range on motor...
Of course there's only 1 way to find out... Go to the track, Lol

5th gens? Cause ya some have with less but not much. Look at the list it is here. 5th gens have proved to be nothing but dyno queens so far as far as drag racing. 4th gens are way better then the 5th gens. As they are doing more with less for sure.

hell I was on camaro5 about two weeks ago looking around and they was telling a guy that he would go 11.5-11.9 with a new 5th Gen with KB SC and bolt ons and he was at 600whp. That is really sad. The same guys was telling him had the same set up with them times.

I think your a little off with that MPH.. My Camaro was only making 447rwhp and I ran 123mph in the 1/4 @3620lbs.. 10.90@123mph.. The E.T. you gave must have been a 10.91 instead of a 9.91..

Nope check the times your self. That what it says. They are bricks made to look pretty. The 5th gen has did nothing special yet. WIth tons of hp even. Look at the times guys are running with bolt ons compared to 5.0 bolt on cars. There is over a 1 sec difference. The fastest H/C/I car isn't faster then the fastest bolt on car. That is another reason I think it is possible he pulled him like he did. Look at the times below. Some them are easy making 600whp and ran mid 11's at 112-120 and slower. The camaro he raced is full weight and not gutted race cars like the first half of the list below.

You need to look else where for times cause that list is not up to date. I just posted earlier that the LMR car has went 9.56 @ 149 and I there are a lot of fast cars not on that list. And you don't have to tell me the 5th gens are not as impressive on the dragstrip as the 4th gens because I know, I own both. But from a roll they can hold their own, I have beat high 11s cars from a roll with just bolt ons.

Sorry bro but I have a friend that lives not far from me that went 10.50's@126-128mph in a 2010 L99 A6 Camaro on stock heads, ZR1 cam, intake, Full exhaust and I'm not sure if he has a converter or not and a procharger. His car dynoed 605rwhp on the stock converter and driveline..

Well I guess he doing better then the rest the camaro guys. Cause as mentioned search on Camaro5 or even here. With that power then are not getting them times.

Also with the Procharger my guess would be he has a stall now. There low end sucks...But they make great power up top. I have had my eyes on a centri for a while. But KB new 3.6L just made over 800whp on a stock Boss engine. And over 700whp on a stock 5.0 engine.

I know it not 5.0/SS. I am saying the SS could have made that power. The maita weighs 2500lbs. made 400whp. The SS is almost double its weight. So him pulling like he did could have happened easy. We also don't know if teh Camaro spun or what. Also did he brake boost? From looks of video Camaro was catching up before he got out of it.

Look what happens to a GT500 vs a Z06. The GT500 makes more power but that 600lbs gets it left in the dust.

The Camaro caught up near the end because I let off at 130~ish mph...
I did notice the Camaro DID accelerate faster than me after he got his cars weight moving and got his turbo spooled up... I would say he is about 5% faster acceleration than me on motor, but my light weight and his turbo lag both caused me to rocket ahead of him every time and his car just didn't have the ***** to catch up in time...

He did mention he had spinning issues... I was dead hooking on the other hand. No biggie though, he mentioned to me that next time out he will have Sticky Tires and more boost. I told him no worries I'll have my spray on me as well next time...

Also... Check out power to weights: (Even though it doesn't mean ****...)

Miata: 2795lb's / 391rwhp = 7.14:1 Power to weight (I weigh 145, my passenger weighed 150) for a TOTAL of 2795lb's.

Camaro: 4150lb's / 650rwhp = 6.38:1 Power to weight (They were both heavy set guys... I added 350lb's to the cars weight)

Fellas, Joe (1sikz31) is a friend of mine, and we might be able to settle this to determine if there was a problem or if that camaro didn't make what was claimed, this week by running each other. My car is a 99 camaro cam only with a 125 shot. I know its not exactly the same as the 5th gen with a turbo but my car with me in it weighs 3900 and only makes 499 rwhp (corrected). I think Joe's (1sikz31) car is a sweet *** car that does move out very well and I do have my hands full with him. If he put 3 cars on that 650 rwhp camaro, he should be able to put ,**** IDK, at least 5 cars on me. My car shines in the quarter better than on a roll race but I'll like to see how I do with his car, his race. At that track, I'll say it, I'LL DRAG THAT ***... lol

A miata with a ls anything on spray, U better bring your A game. I agree seems that camaro is not making 650 to the wheels. Is it a A6 or 6p? If its a A6 he needs a converter bad. If its a 6p I dont know what the hell happen. There was a guy in killen way back when I was there. My z traps 130-140 mph depnding on boost setting. I raced a guy with a rx7 mid 90's style with a 408 and 150 shot stock heads. We where door to door at 130 mph But I had more top end the he did.

I'm with ohioborn on this...I ran a 5th gen with a KB making 500 something and I just got out on him by about 3 cars and it stayed there until 140ish. I have a C5Z making about 380 wheel, so power to weight, power band/gearing are way more important than those BS dyno numbers.
