Friday I was on my way home from cruzein on I 71 bout 8 pm. I'm in the middle lane at about 65 mph just minding my own...... I look up and v yellow Z is moving in fast! The next thing I know we are side by side. I'm like o **** here we go, he has his girlfriend riding shotgun. She had this smirk on her face like your in a C5 z and we are better and faster. I did not want race em ........ The day before I got a ticket in my work truck I have been lucky for like three years, so I did not want a second round with the cops on a Friday night. So I just chill thinking they would give up and move on, no such luck. They kept ******* with me for like five miles no ****!! At this time I'm like two miles from my exit so I figure I would wipe those smirks off now. My car has 390 gears so a fourth gear drop works well at 60 to 65 mph. I get up on him and he does a three honk ! I was a little shocked that he knew about that but never the less I'm on it. The F1 is making about ten lbs and climbing he is by my side till 75 mph and I just started putting school busses on him. I beat em real real bad . I slow down for one more hit but they knew what time it was ....... That grin was now a frown. They would not even wave or give props. Some C6 guys are a little Cocky. If I were to get beat ... Not very likely lol lol just kidding..... I would wave to give props

First C6 Z I walked away from, same ****......he was just a snobby *****. He was in front of me getting on the highway, as soon as I had room to get over onto the highway I did and we both nailed it at the same time from about 35 mph up to about 140mph, he was a few cars behind me when I let off. Lots of Vette guys are like that because they think they're in some kind of real super-car, and its just another American made car. I think he was extra embarrassed though because I started out 1 car length back......

Its the guys with TRUE exotic cars that I find give me props and want to chat after getting beat.

I think a lot of new corvette guys are coming over from the euro trash market so they are not up to snuff .... They only know what they have been told by the dealer .... We all know they are not worth a **** when it comes to real knowledge about the product they sell. Then you have the old crowd they are ok.... They don't usuly race but they wave. The wave is just about dead ... Most C6 guys won't wave unless you have a C6 they frown on c5s I think the Euro drivers that made the change do not know about the wave . When they get beat down by a fourth gen or fast lesser car they don't know what to do or think.... Lol when they had that 911 or M5 and got beat by a vette they probably thought if they bought a new z that would be the end all be all. Even a ZR1 is not the end all be all trust me I know........ Now don't hold me to any of this. I'm just going off what I see and think....

Thank god not all C6 guys are cocky! Good kill. I moved up from a blown C5 Z06 also so I know what those cars are capable of. And WHY were you surprised that a C6 Z06 knew about the 3 honk rule?!

Ok ok not all C6 guys but a lot . I just finished saying don't hold me to this. I'm a C6 guy myself and as far as cocky goes ............ I'm just a humble guy bro.. When I go to cruzeins most C6 guys stick together. I'm going off what I see here.. They would not talk to me till they actually saw me in my other car. Not cool in my honest opinion. Deep down I'm a fourth gen guy and always will remember the place I came from. I love all ls powered cars and trucks some just get the job done better. We should take pole to see if my view is out of line

 

Most c6 guys i know are very cool. I think you've just met a few ********. Judging the entire c6 community off of a few dicks doesn't mean they all are. Good kill btw!!

 

Most online guys are great they are enthusiastic about the hobby. when I go bowling green for the events it's a different world I love the crowd.
