I got set up for a race once with a guy that 100% believed he had a factory freak. I was in my cam only 2002 Z28 and he had an LS1 Camaro as well. His only mods were like a lid and he pulled the exhaust off and ran the y-pipe open. He might have had a couple more minor things, but you get the idea.

I tried telling him, in the nicest way possible, exactly how the race was going to go down, and I understood if wanted to call it off. Instead of that, he was so cocky about the race that he put 2 passengers in his car.

Now, in the back of my mind I was thinking that the car could have a hidden nitrous kit or something, but there was only one way to find out for sure. Needless to say, it was quite the beating. He asked for a second run and it was even worse. Afterwards he shook my hand and didn't have any excuses, but he looked like he wanted to cry and said he'd never lost a race before.
