HAHA...
We seen theses races already. We all seen how crappy the driver is.. He deserves to lose. LOL
Some one said best the 5.0 and SS attract a lot of bad drivers. To many people think they jump in it and they can out run any one. Then they lose a race they should have won. Driver Mod FTW!

I was just thinking about something . I remember when I bought my first ss new in 98 it was a 99 tho. it's been a long time since I have driven a stock 4th gen. when the ls 4th gen cars were new they ran good considering they ran pig rich and the timing was not crazy hot. they came that way from the plant.
the mustang has headers right out of the gate I'm sure the AF is less fat to. take an ls 4th gen and get her tuned in put long tubes and a good flowmaster or magna flow ect..... fix that lid and we may have a nice race. now the million dollar question is this......... if you had a fox body stang that was set up to take an LS3 or the coyote what engine would you have. I know I would have the big Ls hands down. the fith gen is not that far behind the 5.0 it traps the same in a car that is 400 lbs more

Good races OP!!! I was very surprised to see you win just like you were. As has already been stated you definitely beat the driver. I shift that fast in my daily driving not even thinking about racing. You run into a stock 5.0 and the guy can actually drive you will see what should've happened.

This is my car with what you mentioned full bolt ons. I have traction issues to say the least. I had a slight pull and other races we did at higher speeds i would start to pull away, no nitrous. This is the only vid we got that was clean and safe enough to drive and vid at the same time.

Ha, I never argued the 5.0 shouldn't have pulled him with driver mod. It has been said about 1000 times already. I was giving him advice on how to do it next time when 5.0 driver has more experience. They both could have driven better. Yes drivers being equal in each car the 5.0 should put a cuple lengths on him. And whats with saying I go both ways? You didn't seem to have a problem with it the other night

You already know my mods, the G8 is completely stock though. 6 speed automatic. Only real mod with the G8 is the driver mod, he's had a lot more track experience, although he's never taken this car to the track. Myself on the other hand, I have never been to the track.

And I won't let these races go to my head and think I can smoke or keep up with a new 5.0. But that won't stop me from trying!

Thank you. And in the last race you may notice near the end I start to gain on him a little bit, and then he pulls away. Reason being, we were already going 112 MPH, and I didn't wanna risk going any faster while approaching a curve. I think if I stayed on it though I might have caught up.
