Cobalt SS/TC + BMW 335xi + C6 Zo6 + 91 Stang Hey guys,
Some vids I thought you would enjoy.
Few of us IL burb guys met up and hit Byron last week and we got a few runs on vid.
I will keep it short ad let Will and Dan chime in but I will toss in what I do know.
1st up:
Cobalt vs 335xi
1st track run for both of us this lovely 80 degree morning.
Cobalt: GMS1, K&N, Muffler delete, 2 baby seats in back...lol
BMW: tune + meth and not sure what else (meth not working this run)

Balt needs some drag radials! Do these have the same quality crappy axles as in the SS/SC Balts? I remember a buddy broke one at the drag strip on drag radials

Yep, in the video of the Balt vs me I usually bump the auto over to ds and then downshift it manually to hold 3rd or 2nd depending on the rpm I'm at about. Well I left it in ds and thought I bumped it to the right gear. I didnt so what ended up happenig is right when I hit it the car upshifted so it took a second to downshift and then I was off. Felt like I was chasing you down though. All highway runs I was spraying meth without issue. The strip runs were off meth. Had issues that are now resolved so I'll be shooting for mid 12's next time.

My mods were tune, meth, downpipes, intake, intercooler, half a cup of starbucks grande mocha latte doubleshot, 2lbs of excess coolingmist meth line, rollerboard and MacBook air(went straight to ohare from the dragstrip
). I'm sitting at a conservative 16psi on meth and about 12.5psi off meth. I laugh at dans comment when he missed third. That car is a beast though. Even after missing he still came right around in a hurry. I should have tried lining up with the mustang, but oh well.
The first highway pull with the Balt was pretty good. No issues on my part for that run. Where is that video Jay!!!

i posted all i was given....i was to busy shiften while u were sippin lattes to be takin vids :p
1st run was nasty compared to out run way back!

I have no bones to pick about that run. I was on it quick, in the right gear, and spraying meth at full tilt. No issues and I couldn't have ran the car any different. Those z06's are just so damn bad ***

did i mention this was a kick *** day with a great group of guys?
not mentioned: my neighbor who ive been talkin about that i wanted to race in his bolt on z28 ran a 14.3.....bent a pushrod on first run.
another buddy in his cammed ls2 goat burned his clutch on run #1 and still ran a 13.4
lots of busted cars this night including a built evo that threw its guts all over the track
good times.

hope dan jumps on and gives us an idea on modsbut it was a fast *** peg legger.
i should post the supercharged 05'ish GT that was fkn with our group on the way there.....wouldnt line up with anyone but kept gunnin in as we got near....i see him at the track, and he run 14's ALL day

As for will i notice in our run its beep beep, there goes the bemmer, beep. Just from what i saw of wills car he should be trapping around 115 if he can get the meth to work correctly down the 1/4mi.
oh and will im sure i have your 1st run with jay on my go pro but i dont have my cable with at the moment. When i get it i will check if its on there and i will post it up. On that first run it looks like you pulled at least 4 lengths if not more.

man those cobalts really do have no ***** but on topend. trapping high enough to run low 13's.
