Hey man its all good. My car isnt the be all end all here in Hawaii. Its just a mid level car and everyone knows Ill race anyone anytime. We got a 1500 rwhp tt fgt and many others here. Thing is lots of those guys are all show and no go.
As far as the gtr's... Hell i only pull a stock gtr by 3 cars froma 60 roll and by a length from a 30 roll.
The last intake tune 520 awhp one gave me a crazy run and got me by a door. Last 600 awhp one got me by a car to car and a half. 650 awhp sp engineering one on pump gas put two quick cars on me
I completely get were you are coming from.
But from a 70 roll they are completely differant animals. Their 3900 pounds shows its true face and they are at a horrible gear/rpm. Those cars hit third gear at 59 mph. So they are well into third or fourth gear at 70 mph.
In comparison 70 mph is the meaty portion of my second gear and the sweet spot. I knew this and asked them both to run me at 70 mph rolls since they had both put 1-2 cars on me starting at 50.
The result was the short cell phone footage you saw.
Go look at the 60-130 mph times for pre 2012 gtr's. Around 10 seconds stock. Thats not fast.

people who say they have "OMG super cwazy fast cars" in their area remind me of people who say they have the prettiest girls in their state......come on now.
they are everywhere.
i went to get a coffee a few days ago an passed an orange viper, a white gt3 and a white gtr.
FLP & AMS are 1 mile and 8 miles away from me.
Me and Will saw 8 GTR's up in the air at AMS getting stages put on.
so........there is competition everywhere. kill doesnt have to be afraid of going to Cali or wherever, cause there is competition on every corner.
there may not be 300k cars around but be damn sure there is a 700hp lsx or turbo 4 somewhere in your hood. you just gota look around.

Lol Killemall I didnt realize you were in Hawaii, that would make it hard to come to Florida I guess lol... As far as the dead RPM, a GTR should be doing 60 and 70 both in 3rd and should actually pull harder from the 70 unless they were in 4th. Dont forget those cars have no lag and can trap 137ish with just bolt ons/e85/tune... About the 60-130 times, have you ever put a Vbox in your car?
I dont really want to get into a debate, since no race will ever happen due to distance...

That is all have to do where I live. There is plenty of cars that make 600-1000whp. Just have to know who to talk to or where to go. And they come in about any platform you want. Muscle/import/exotic.
The fastest car in town used to be a TT GTO. Made same crazy HP like 1200whp or some crap. Now it up in the air. There is some 1000whpo vettes that don't really run here. They go to Austin or Houston. PLus a RX7 with a blown LS2 that makes like 750whp. And a few 600-700whp Evo's. Plus a I know 1 Fbody that go's 9's. Plus a few mustangs that make 700whp+ that have gone 9/10's 100-150whp before.

RTR has a low 10 sec civic. AGmotorsports is putting there car back together and will be shooting for 9's.

Observe the last stock gtr i ran. The first run shows a 60 mph start. I obliterate the car within a few seconds. Your talking 2-3 lengths behind me from just 60-120.
But then we race again from 30 mph and suddenly its door to door raceing with the viper finally edging ahead up top. This shows just how much weaker the gtr is from high rolls

As far as gtrs trapping 137...I can only go from my own personal experience.
My 500 rwhp viper and friends 650 awhp gtr along with a rookie driven 500 rwhp z06 all used the same testing gear at the same location. Heres the results
500 rwhp z06=11.93 at 124 mph
650 awhp gtr=11.68 at 128 mph
500 rwhp viper=11.55 at 125 mph
The cars all seem a lil slow at this 1000 feet 75 degree location but its still aplles to apples and even at 650 awhp the gtr's trap speed wasnt much faster.
As far as 60-130 I clipped off a high 7 my first pass. I found a level surface and angled my camera to face my speedo and analyzed the footage on youtube for start and finish run times. I feel confident I can do better but wont waste any more time withit till i get the 400$ vbox and have the time verified

So yea maybe that last one you saw at 520 awhp trapp 130 over in your area would be 123-125 mph over here.
Now that I think about it my 500 rwhp viper and the 520 awhp gtr both gave a stock lp570 some bumper to bumper runs and the lp570 trapps 130 mph stock
