I stopped racing in traffic young when I was told a kid racing in a Mustang rear ended a lady. Killed her n the passenger. Driver was his neighbor, n sitting shotgun was his mother. Neighbor was taking her shopping. Food for thought.
I remember that. It was about 10-12 yrs ago if remember right, Matter fact there was even a life time movie about it.

I was thinking the same thing.

Yes those are optional wheels. From 08+ they had about 4 wheel design choices. Can't tell if that's the 03-06 or 08+ hood but either way they are optional

SC mustang GT side by side with a SC viper..UMM How that not bad? And how much did it pull? I re-watched sound like they was side by side. So did it pull or did it just get the hit and they ran neck and neck. Hard to tell from the video.

That 5.0 is sick looking. Got the details on the wheels and other appearance mods? Only thing wrong is it needs to be Grabber Blue instead of Kona, but it still looks nasty!

The Grabber blue is sick. I wish I would have got it.

anyway mods.
Saleen grill, Boss/CS front valance with splitter(mine just showed up)

Boss side splitter also(mine just showed up..LOL)

GT500 wing and rear diffuser. Most of us have this wing. It just looks better.

Rims are the RTR knockoff's by latemodlerestoration. 19.5 all the way around.

When ready will most likely go with a F1 procharger. So never have to upgrade SC again and have the SC that will make a 1000whp if I get that carried away.

Wheels are SVE drifts from Latemodel Restoration, saleen grille, and gt/cs front bumper, gt500 rear spoiler, and gt500 rear diffuser, roush side splitter gt500 splash guards, and bbr shorty antenna

Everybody the viper didn't pull the mustang. The mustang was at the viper's fender the whole time. Here's what the owner had to say

Edit: Ohio beat me to it
Its actually the Boss/CS front valance..The bumper is the same. You just change the lower valance. Then just have to add the Boss splitter. They make two different splitters also. The one he has and I have in my garage are the cheap ones. THe other is almost 700.

I love how that mustang looks. Sounds like it started falling behind just by the sound of it. And every race the mustang got the jump from the sounds of it. I like the cars but the viper owner needs to learn how to shift.

Not a good idea, in theory it sounds like a great idea but it wont be unless you build your engine first. F1's are only efficient if you spin them hard and with your power it will no spin the blower to an efficient rpm level. So what im saying is for them to be a better choice for you than say a d1sc or a t-trim, you need to throw high boost at it like 18+ which you cant do on a stock engine. Just tryin to help save you from disappointment

There is a few guys on Modularford and S197 with F1's running 14-16psi no issue right now. We see what issues they have in the future.

But when I do it I will have Forged Internals. They are already in the garage. Well actually at the shop with the car now. I thought out my build long before I started buying parts.

Race is too short to speculate. They raced from what 40-100 mph?

It isnt till about 110 -140 mph that one car would start pulling away.

Thats the older style srt10. It could be 100 percent stock with a stock psi blower and trap 131 mph at 620 rwhp.

Have a few bolt ons with a stock blower and trap 133 at 650 rwhp.

Or have all the bolt ons and the upgraded blower psi at 700 rwhp and trap 137.

700-720 is were they max out on stock internals.

I have no idea of what whippled 5.0s are capable of but this was a minimumof low 130s mph viper

Nevermind.... The viper owner dynoed the car recently and it was very down on power. Only 580 rwhp wich is easily 40 plus rwhp low. He states he has some fouled plugs ect. Shouldnt have ran his car in that kinda condition and is lucky he even pulled a fender.

580 rwhp is 128 mph traps on paxtoned gen3s. The paxtons suck down low

Sounds like you and him are making excuse's for the viper not doing better then a fender on a little old mustang.

With what he has done to the mustang it will trap in the 130's.

Well being that he posted that dyno vid back in august and just recently ran the mustang his excuse was premeditated two months in advance?

Viper looked to have pulled half a car or so in both races. So it appeared to have won these lil baby races of 50-100 mph. Again far too short to see were the real winner would be.

I was at first impressed with the 5.0 in this vid but it would seem the viper isnt running right and still won. Now ill eagerly wait for the rematch on deserted roads from 40-140 mph with both cars running correctly before I make any more conclusions.

Should be awesome footage no matter who wins. Im rooting for the underdog 5.0!!!!

So how we know he didn't get the viper fixed now? And as well every one said hard to tell if he pulled or if it was just the hit where they took off.
