Here's my conversation with him about doing another pull and the condition of the viper

I may see him tomorrow, and if so, we'll try to get some better footage.

By the way, his car is running fine now, he's just yet to get on a dyno.

well killemall will just make excuses for cars he doesnt know, and people driving them he doesnt know. he can tell from the psychic abilities why it didnt go as planned.

a supercharged viper pulling 1/2 car on a stock blocked mustang is a loss for the Viper.

I'm a mopar guy first and love the vipers but they're not as good as they used to be. They're heavy for what they are even though they barely have anything in them and they're tricky to drive. I've seen vipers get beat by bolt on camaros. And these new 5.0 with a supercharger aren't bad when they're putting out 550+ rwhp and some weigh about as much or a little more than a viper while a supercharged viper only puts out around 700 to the motor which is around 600 rwhp at 15% drivetrain loss and is tricky to drive so they're times suffer and get beat easily because of that

Garner i dont know what to tell you. Every srt10 viper from 03-06 is capable of 120-124 mph stock. Of course the drivers aRent always capable. In comparison a 5.0 honestly isnt evena a Thought to me. Its awesome for a relatively inexpensive car thats capable of 112-115 mph. Amongst its peers in the 30-40k catergory it shines. Especially when its rivals suffer to trap 112.

Ive got more than enough vids destroying 500 rwhp cobras and supras as well as putting a nose on the stock 130 mph lp570 gallardo and walking a gtr from a 60 punch with ease in a bolt on 490 rwhp sae viper.

You say a stock viper with a stock paxton kit at 620 rwhp is no biggie than hey Ive never had an supercharged viper and can only seak from what I know.

But the bottom line is a 50-100 race is not a race at all. If anything your roots style supercharger should have pulled his snail style setup in the low rpms. But that wasnt the case.

All the video shows is your car disappear

Hopefully you get an actual race... Somthing like this....

Lol that's not my mustang and I will never say it's my mustang...well unless s197 gt sells it and I buy it but that's beside the point. The mustang is s197 gt's and I'm just relaying what he's telling me to relay in his build thread. Last post was my personal opinion though

This is a solid 10 second race from 50-60 mph and ending around 150 mph. First race is me at 450 rwhp. Second race is me at 490 sae.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bowZODW_dS4

You gotta get somthing like this. A 50-100 blast on a crowded freeway tells you nor him or anyone else wich is faster. A stock z06 can run side by side with a zr1 till 100 mph but then from 100-140 mph the zr1 will put 3 cars on the z06.

By the way if you got any 5.0 guys on your message boards in hawaii who wanna piece of a viper send them my way. Supercharged na ect makes no differance to me.

The srt10 convertables are 3380 pounds all fluids topped. Thats actually pretty light?

Vipers arent what they used to be?

In 92 a 12.6 at 113 mph was insane. Basically a 92 viper is as fast as the new 5.0s
In 96 a 11.7 at 120 mph was insane
In 03 a 11.5 at 123mph was insane. 3 years before the c6z06
In 08 a 10.9 at 130 mph is insane

Nothing last forever but comeon man. Saying they arent all that anymore cause someone raced the 15 year old model gts or 9 year old model srt10? In that case zr1s arent all that cause my c5 dusted a 94 zr1.

Super car / exotic with forced induction vs stock pony/muscle car with forced induction.

Should be no contest right?

Should be but looks like it was..LOL

Killmill reaching why a viper with FI didn't rape a 5.0 with FI. SHould could woulda. Just like the 5.0's that are losing to stock Fbody's. I guess it just happens the way it shouldn't sometimes.

None the vipers around us will play. The only one that might is the TT one that makes 1000hp. The rest make excuses and say not worth running so and so. Even if its a ZR1 trying to run them.

The supercharged viper needs a driver mod. that viper started to pull pretty hard once the guy got it in to gear.

The paxton vipers arent all that. Paxton in general is a flawed system. Had snail shells on my nsx and camaro and refuse to do one on my viper. Roots style supercharger or tt is the only way to go.

The paxton srt10s dyno 620-720 rwhp depending on boost and modification but really 130-138 mph isnt crazy impressive for that much rwhp. All just peak numbers. They were never able to fit a roots style supercharger under the srt10 hood. A 650 rwhp roots supercharged srt10 would be beastly

I would have expected the viper to be quicker, much quicker. Good race, guess that Mustang has his set up dialed in. Goes to show that a Car that's faster on paper doesn't mean its faster in the REAL WORLD. Great runs

Damn.. I knew there were a few 131.x mph stock 08 vipers but 132 is insane.

A part of me wants to trade and get a 2010. But it looks exactly the same only i already have a lot of goodies.. At 500 rwhp and 545 rwt plus my titanium and other lightweight parts at 3300 pounds it just dosent seem worth it to trade mine in plus 25k to get a 545 rwhp 515 rwt 3450 pound car.

Supposedly a 700 hp new style viper debuteing this year. Ill hold out for now
