Don't quote me, I'm no expert on gm tech. But I'm fairly sure I remember him saying that because he has a very late model 02, that he has an ls6 block? That even possible?

Yes it may have the ls6 block and intake, but the block has no performance affect.

Well I have to agree with him. 11.6 can be attained with boltons and weight reduction for crying out loud! He needs more boost and a turbo cam w/supporting mods imo.

If you are saying all 01/02 ls1s had an ls6 block you are incorrect. I think about 20% did, but it is inconsequential, other than oil galleys there is no point.

The rear mount twin turbo kits for the vettes and GTO's do seem to be lightyears ahead of the single mount kits for the fbodies.

All I know is he should have stuck with his STOCK CAR cam, because it probably ran just as good as the turbo.

He's not making 520.. He probably is on 4# and low-mid 400s.

That's what you get with a manual and a turbo, especially a booty mount. Booooooo

Good runs.. I have never seen that car.

Eh...some LS1's are known to pop at only around 4 psi, where others run forever at 8-9 psi. Guess it has a lot to do with the tune, but an actual LS1 isn't the best motor to run boost in with stock internals. I'd much rather build one all motor. Prob be more respectable than that turd.

11.6 at 121 trap is pretty respectable if you ask me. Good tires and 60ft and that could be a low 11 run.

And good runs to the OP. I have always hated those STS kits with a passion. Just seems like a terrible idea to run a turbo at the back of a car with loads of lag, boost loss, exposed to the elements, etc...not to mention exhaust heat and velocity is what spools a turbo. How hot is it going to be by the time it gets to the back of the car?? I'm kinda surprised thier still in business honestly. I personally have never seen an STS F-body run worth a damn myself. They make loads of noise and whistling and whining, but never seem to go anywhere or do anything. Kind of like lesbian sex. They just never pull anywhere near as hard as a front mount car.

Anyone like zombies? They are fans of butt mounts.

Do your research guys, there are some stout sts cars.

If 7s isn't stout, not sure what is..?

I raced Brian (H/C/I WS6) that made something like 450 on a MD and it was REAL close. I walked a fender on 2 of the runs and he walked a fender on me the last run

So I know its not making 500+ wheel.

Sad that nobody knows this guy, I was really looking forward to running from a dig
