A z06 can go 9's easily and still be DD all day long. The only problem that i noticed is that 90% of the people who drive corvettes cant drive them any where near their full potential. They mainly buy then just to say they have a vette.

 

NAH! She just added a car that is know for huge dyno numbers and slow 1/4 mile ET's.

 

I don't know that I'd want to DD an N/A 9s Z06... the h/c combo would probably be fairly wild. Now a blown/turbo Z is a completely different thing

WHat about all them 1300-2000whp Supra's running 10- 12's.

And a set up mustang is still faster then a set up supra. Always with more money in the car. Last time I check fastest things at the drag strips was American muscle cars. Not some POS import.

Fastest manual transmission car has been going back and forth between the Supra and Viper for the past several years. The cars that are ACTUALLY set up correctly are incredibly fast.

 

What are they running?

And manuals a driver is a huge factor.

 

Last I checked, low-mid 8s @ 170mph+.

MMR went 6.9 in there TT GT500 with a manual in it.

I saw a guy at moroso run a 10.9x and 133mph in a Bone stock zr1...just my .02

 

Match up 10 pairs of stock GT-R's and ZR1's (just 10 average owners) at the dragstrip and the GT-R is going to win the majority of those 10 races.

Extend the race out to 1/2 mile or a mile and it's ZR1 all the way, but not in the 1/4.

I've seen probably 7-8 different ZR1's at the track and have only seen 1 guy get into the 10's (and just barely).
