I beat a 2011 mustang gt, them new 5.0 engines are worth about as much as the badges on the side of the car lol, i was riding down the interstate minding my own buisness when this black 5.0 rolled up beside me, he downshifted ,i know because once he got right next to me he got really loud and high pitched. He stayed beside me like that for a good 15 sec before i rolled my window down. He said lets go on third honk and i agreed. On third honk i pulled my gear selector from drive down to second and punched to make sure it downshifted then slid it back in drive and from 70-135 i had him by 2 1/2 cars then at 150 i had him by 2 cars. He followed me off the interstate so i pulled in to the first gas station i saw, he jumped out of the car and came running up saying i cant believe i lost to a Chevy Aveo and he wanted to see under the hood. I just yelled tough luck shitstang as i took off leaving him standing in the middle of gas station looking stupid, best part was the gas station was packed and we had everyones attention.

My brother's auto LT1 ran 14.0 at 100 bone stock in good DA. I actually like LT1s and think it would be a fun daily, but they are more than just bolt ons away from a new 5.0.

My full bolt on's LT1 did a best of 274 RWHP and that was a very happy dyno, all the other runs were in the 260's. I mustang 5.0 will easily be 100+rwhp more and in some cases 120+rwhp more, lol.

I have one question.. I want to know why everybody hates on lt1 cars. I love mine. By the way. I got bored at work today and kind of played on that one. I have never raced a new 5.0 only older mustangs. And i have won some and lost some. I know my car aint the fastest thing by far but i do love it. So jk on this post.
