my girl has an 05 altima 3.5 SE with a 5spd (different tranny, same hydraulics) and we spent $1400 replacing the clutch twice, master and slave cylinder.
upon further research, looks like we're not the only ones complaining about the hydraulics and premature clutch wear; we found hundreds and hundreds of complaints about poor clutch performance and faulty hydraulics.
not to mention poor customer service on behalf of nissan....
if we could go back, id've gone with an auto...
other than that...its been a great little car.

Here is a race with my SS. He drove from Ca a 6 hour drive to my work, we lined up on my way home. This is what happened. 100 degrees outside, and his car was completely heat soaked. We are thinking it puts out around 280 to 290 at the front wheels.

i test drove a nice dark red 08 before buyin the cobalt. only reason i didnt grab it was cuz it had 20k miles on it and was same $$ as thbrand new cobalt.

LOL!! Well check again, Altima SE-Rs were only made in 05 and 06. Thats it.
