Just thought I tell everyone

The SRT8 is impressive for its weight. I think GM could learn a few things. But how is the 5.0 not? It won and what with a tune it pulled down low and up top. Now we need see a true stock to stock NiteriderWS6 see if your buddy can get the 5.0 to stock and run them.
Shouldn't be to hard to find a stock 5.0, but truthfully the real test should be a Stock Auto 5.0 vs Stock Charger SRT8 - Stock 6 Speed 5.0 vs 6-Speed 392 Challenger

Just found this video that was uploaded today. Bone Stock Challenger 392 Auto
12.40@114 and a best of 12.25@113 in +1200. I think the 5.0 is in trouble

Thats bad*ss that a car that big can move like that. Dodge did a great job with the challenger and charger. I would love to own the new SRT Charger, Challenger or 300C but money aint there for me.

Nice try but not really just informing the close minded individuals that seem to think SRT8's are 13/14 second cars

They are. And it's even worse that they have such a big motor. Seems they are really trying to stay true to their roots. Big motors/slow cars

Doesn't your modded one only run high 12's or something?

Default New SRT8 Challenger/Charger

The new SRT8 Challenger is fast in bone stock trim. The new SRT8 Charger is a little heavier. The Challenger will run in the mid to high 12s bone stock. The only thing limiting them is traction. Thats true for most of us though. The Challenger is faster than a SS Camaro and 5.0 bone stock in the real world...and it is alot more expensive toooooo lol. $50,500.00 out the door. I raced a new 5.0 at the track with exhaust and CAI ,,,we were both on street tires and we both spun bad he ran a 12.80. watched him make several passes and the best he could get it to run was .80s. It was a bad air night as well and hot as hell. In better air he might run some .60s and with traction who knows.

Haha right. Just like your MODDED mach ran a 12.5@109. I just posted a video of a stock 392 running 12.4@114 looks like you car is the slow one. And no my car dosent run high 12's and I bet it will beat your Mach 1 just like every other one I beat

Good runs. Those SRT8's are no joke! I watched Jay (LT/LS Guy here) go 12.4 a couple weeks ago at 114 in his '12 Challenger SRT.

Yes it is, did you see the posted video? the modded 5.0 could barley pull half a car on a stock Charger the challenger is lighter and quicker.
Heres a crappy video of a 5.0 that has steeda cold air, flowmasters,x-pipe,mdx clutch and 91 tune-6 speed vs a stock challenger 392. get the idea lol

I offered to have you find any stock 392 to run me but you didn't. Same offer goes for next time I go, I will be at the same power level so it will be the same.

So what does your car run? And LOL @ you snooping at what my car ran but didn't post in the thread.

that has just about any stock 5.0 auto or 6-Speed covered they aren't replicating times like those at all. You will always get those 5.0 guys who claim 12.1 stock but we all know how that goes
