LOL 2ss, its not a good argument when the other car is eating sangwiches between shifts.....

This is solved by slicks but even on slicks high power 5th gens struggle to hook. Too much torque. 600rwtq at 2.5k rpm is a bitch to control on any tire. Throw in the 5th gens boosting 18psi, or running nitrous untop of their PD blower and you're seeing 800rwtq at 2.5k rpm.

Do Porsches count? Back in 1998 my EX stepdad had just bought an auto LT1 Vette (I believe it was a 95 model). We were heading West on 565 here in Huntsville when a Porsche pulled up beside us. He said with that smartass smirk on his face "Watch this". ..
He floored it, (got the jump) and then that Porsche passed us like we were standing still. I loved seeing him get crushed like that I have to admit.
