This is getting kind of lame stopsign, seems like anyone who has a kill on a stang you feel the need to hate on, proclaim they troll or just say you could smoke them..sorry fordfanboy, you are on a gm-based forum, so not many guys are gonna jump to pull you out of the shark tank..

I saw two stock to the tire '11 Challengers go 12.3x's on the same night. One of them still had the dealer placard, guy said he just bought the car a few days before. Wasn't even broken in yet.
Another thing to take into account is us 5.0 guys are achieving our quickest times with a stick and high clutch-dumps...another reason why were seeing better gains with drag radials - where as the Srt8 guys are dipping into the low 12's with the stock converter!!!. Their not even leaving hard yet. Imagine when tuning software becomes available and guys start dropping big stalls in them. My guess is you'll see 392's with just a converter & tires in the mid 11's in good DA. No way a stalled A6 5.0 will see those numbers without a few more bolt-ons.
Lastly, the BOSS 302 is not an 11-second car without tires. In stock trim they ET in the mid-low 12's right along with the A5 392 with the boss having a slightly higher trap speed thanks to the M6.
My question is how you only ran a 11.7 at 250DA with everything done to your car?

Our reaction was simply. "ok, what the ****".
As in, he beat the driver, not the car. Claiming that the driver blew his clutch on a brand new car. It wasn't hard to figure out that he couldn't drive for ****..

I know I am putting this reply in the middle of other conversations but I have to say that I just read the enitre thread and personally, I am really glad Mopar is back in the game and making big, powerful nice cars again like they did back in the 60's.
I was and always will be a fan of Mopar. Back in the late 80's and early 90's, I had a 69 SuperBee (metallic green w/black stripe across the trunck and Superbee emblem). One of the nicest cars I have owned.
Also, just think how nice this is to see the big three back in a Horsepower war! This is awesome and we are all part of this moment in history again. This is also keeps it more interesting where prior to this, we would only see GM vs Ford. Now we have the big powerful Mopars to deal with again.
I love having this extra competition and hope one day I come across the new 392 on the streets or at the track for a friendly run. If I get beat, so what! It should just be an incentive to puts some new mods on and try it again. Just keep in mind Mopar is still 51% American (if I am correct) and I am glad to welcome them back into the game.

I think Chrysler always maintains the majority of shares >50%...When Diamler owned it, I am almost positive it was the same way.
If I am incorrect, someone let me know.
...just looked it up..Fiat ownes 35% of the shares "initially"..with the possibility of 55% later on.

ET is more about the driver and knowing how to dial in your 60' then anything else. Arguing over a few tenths either way with xxxx mods is pointless unless its the same driver at the same track on the same day.
