Mild cam - Kooks 1.7/8 headers ORX - VR CAI - Fast 102 intake - 102 TB -
Our shop tune 542rwhp 505rwtq

vs

11' Shelby GT500 SVT Package (wheels/suspi/CAI and 3.73 gears)
Full exhaust (LT ORX catback) - Upper & lower pullies - CAI - Tune.(no dyno numbers made 492rwhp 478rwtq with tune only

50-170mph (I believe the GT500 let off at 150mph)

Same ZO6 vs 09 Viper SRT10 Full exhaust - K&N Filter UNTINED

40-170mph (Z in 2nd gear Viper in 1st gear and a slight jump)
I dont know what's wrong with the Viper these things are 530-540rwhp stock

25-160mph no passenger in the PDK

Another C6ZO6 boltons/QM600 cam made 581rwhp with Ported/Milled LS7 heads but in the race was running stock heads (between 550-565rwhp)

vs Bone stock 458 Italia

25-150mph both in 1st gear but the ZO6 rolled into the throttle in 1st

Nice vids... I thought the gt500 in the first vid would've been pulled on much harder by the vette... Given the deficit in power and weight.

Nothing is wrong the Viper, it's just racing a Z06

 

As much as I freaking love the ZO6 the Viper should be alot faster than that
I dynoed 2 stock 08+ Vipers both made 530-535rwhp this one have full exhaust/CAI from what I've seen all Vipers gain another 30-40rwhp with those mods even untuned.

Also keep in mine ZO6 started in 2nd gear at very low RPM and still pulled hard.

vipers are 530-560 stock and 570-600 with basic mods.

Viper wasnt driven well. It just falls on its face on the 2-3 shift at 100 mph..

both with passengers a 540 rwhp z06 and 580 rwhp viper should have been very very close

 

I don't see the problem with the vette shifting into 5th. I mean hell, if he's ahead at the top of 4th I would call that a win in my book. I never race to speeds that need 5th gear. I mean if you aren't in front of me by 130 I call that a loss for you.

Very cool vids none the less though, I like seeing daytime vids.

 

sorry but really you are the last one that can talk about driving. did you notice your shifts in your vids??? sorry I dont really mean to disrespect, but I know the viper driver and he is a good driver and his shifts in that run was great. I dont know whats the problem though.

its a fact that vipers always need more power to beat a Z06. I dont know why. I am not saying that this run is what was expected (I expected slight advantage for the Z06)

 

Very nice runs. That viper was a joke. Thought the z would pulled the gt500 a little more in the first race. Nice runs with the second z also.

The Viper was driven well I know the driver but I really don't know why the ZO6 pulled that hard on him.

Its all good... A 540 rwhp z06 can run right next to a 570 rwhp viper. Looks to me at 100 mph and the third gear shift he just fell on his face. Done it many times. You say hes the shifting God then kool. But thats sure what it looked like. A bad 2-3 shift


What do you mean when you say you dont know why the viper needs more poer to beat the z06?

That viper is 3450 pounds. 250 pounds heavier than the z06. As well the z06 has better gearing at 3.42 vs 3.07

I didnt say he was a shifting god I said he drive well.
Yes the Viper is little heavier and taller gears but keep in mind Viper was in 1st Z was 2nd from 40mph thats an awesome spot for Viper adn still couldnt pull 1st & 2nd gears.

Looks like Kuwait... those roads are WIDE open for MILES... although sandy they are flat. Ive seen some crazy accidents there. People trying to pass on the shoulder(the shoulder of the road is half sand).... I dont think he lived to talk about it.
