Default viper vs Z06 then fox body.

Today went to cars and coffee with some friends. We rolled out with about 6 mustags incliding a new boss, a viper and a Z06. On the way there the viper wanted to play. Both tsock he raced a buddied C6Z and got beat. Then he rced a buddies Fox body with a stroker(400ci+) and got beat again. Guy with fox has the video's and is editing them and will have up soon. Altogether some nice rides turned out. We did have a 776whp cobra that no one wanted to race. My new auto was at home as it will get tuned tomorrow.

At the show there was everything from Bentley's to civics. My fav was either the matt black TT viper or one the AMS 2012 GTR's.

Sounds like a good time. Did you get a decent stall with your trans or is it an oem?

I wanna go to one of these one day. I've only been to a few small car shows other than Cruis'n the Coast in MS.

How long is it going to take to do the auto swap? Any reason why you are going that route?

I traded my whole car in. Bought an auto. Basically did cause the manual wasn't "doing well" with the power. It was getting notchy again. Which last time the tranny went out when that happen. I did everything in my garage wednesday-friday. Took the manual back to stock and the blower and all on the auto. It got picked up yesterday to get it on the dyno today.

First day I got the auto

EVerything done auto together. I even upgraded and got leather and and sync etc etc

No I didn't. A little but I still came out better then doing a auto conversion. I got over 4k in rebates and what not. The car was a hair over 36k and I got it for under 32k.

Must help that your wifey works for a dealer too.

The 5.0 that I saw with a rod thrown through it was also a manual and they said that when they drained the trans fluid it looked terrible for a car that didn't have many miles or abuse on it. Damn chinese made getreg trans's. Oh well, get a stall, you'll be yanking that thing out the hole better than you could with the manual.
