Guess roll racing would be gay if you get *** raped. I have fun dig or roll. Fact is, most runs on the street 90% of the time are on the highway (roll). Coming to a dead stop in traffic on the highway usually causes problems. Like the people behind you calling the cops and giving them your plate. Ask me how I know. Back in my young and dumb days. Back to the OP. My point is don't get offended when you post up a vid and expect no one to question it or not ask about mods. If i went on talonworld.com or whatever and posted same thing, i would be flamed to no end. Odarabla been around here for a little bit so I take his word for it. I can already see where the rest of the thread is going.
I didnt post to bash... A few people questioned but its how they questioned in a flame-n matter... It is what it is though. I dont really take offense to it. its kinda funny to me thats all....and as far as a roll race this particular guy does not do rolls.. And im not to fond of them myself either. I feel it takes way more skill to get down from a dig then it is a roll.
Serious reading comprehension fail on your part. Talon said he would out 60', 330', 1000', mph, and et a nitrous'd head cam drag radial equiped Z06. If that isn't a track reference then what the hell is?

i just cant be impressed by the talons. sure there fast when enough money is dumped into them. but they still fall apart on a regular basis. and ANY owner who tries to deny that is full of it. just go to the dsm forums. you would think the DSMs fall apart just sitting still. power isnt impressive if it cant sustain it.

I still legitimately want to know if the DSM/Sti/Evo guys get along with the diesel truck guys, or if they try to ignore them, or flat out hate on them. ?? I know alot of us rwd V8 crowd don't like them one bit, mostly because of all the **** they tend to talk about how easy it is to mod there 7,000 pound trucks to beat our sports or muscle cars. I can just imagine a awd guy telling a diesel guy "I'd destroy you from a roll!"
Just to clear **** up. This is the Talon I raced a little while back. He was on street tires and pump gas. Yes I won that race but will I win the next one is still to be seen. This Talon is well capable of out running any H/C/I C6Z. What most of you guys are forgetting is that this is a street race and most cars don't run the same on the street as they do at the track. Low 10 second cars will run mid to high 10 on the street. Some will even hit low 11's on the street. So you guys can drop all this **** about (well a H/C/I C6Z will be a high 9 second car). His Talon is propbably making close to the same power as I am with the exception of being all wheel drive. With that much power and being all wheel drive not only will he leave hard as hell on the street but he will be able to maintain it. Him and I have a rematch coming and it will forsure be on video. This time he will be coming harder than he did with that C6Z. If I can hook good it should be a pretty close race.. If I have to play catchup then it will be over at the starting line..

odarabla: so many ppl dont realize how much different the track is compared to a street race lmao. awd is the closest to being the same at both places. i cant believe people dont understand. in most cases rwd cant leave at 6000 rpm on dirty street with all the prep in the world

I just want to say it again.... He lost to a cam only Zo6, on the street. I don't see him beating a Z with heads and nitrous (over 750Rwhp). Maybe if he sprays but race gas is not going to be able to give him over 250Rwhp, just not going to happen. With nitrous, it changes a lot. I'm going to assume he doesn't spray over a 100 shot though.

Let me see if I can help just a little here. The z06 doesn't have heads at all. It does have a cam. He doesn't have spray. Me and my buddy that I own a shop with was supposed to put it on and we didn't. It has a 2 step to help launch but I don't know what happened against the talon. The guy in the z06 is confident he can beat the talon when he is all out hence the race coming with both of them ***** to the wall.
I have a 2 vids of the same z06 and you can tell it has a cam. Its going up against a GTO. Most of us know the guy with the GTO and doesn't hide anything. Here is his thread of when he switched his LS3 heads off the GTO and slapped on WCCH LS7 heads. It has a 451 ci LSX block engine in it at 12:1 compression.

The GTO has gone 10.50's at the track on the motor. there is even a vid of it in the thread.
