Sounds like a good combo, and looks like you were working it hard to get there. That's the difference in my car that alot of you don't understand. I can run a 11.1 leaving @ 2600-2800 rpm. That's not working the car very hard at all. Sure I could change a cam, put a 100 shot on it blah blah blah this that and go faster too. We can all change our combo and bench race.
His car would run a lot better with the "creative weight reduction" that you did.

Your car might have a stock *create motor*, but you know as well as everyone else that the reason your car runs as well as it does because you put a lot of time and energy into the rest of the car. Which didn't make it any less impressive, but when you talk about it ALL THE TIME, you come off like a pompous *******.

Your right, my car would also run ALOT better down a 1/4 mile if I made it leave @ 6000+ rpm like he did. Then that puts us back to square one. ls6>5.0.

If someone posts another pic of an outdated foxbody Mustang or ugly *** Fairmont I don't know what I'll do. I thought I was in a time warp back in the '80s or something.
And what's all this hating on weight reduction on a F-body? No one seems to complain when you have a tin can'd Mustang running around with a little weak SBF in it running some stupid rear gear just to run a decent number. What gives?

Doesn't bother me at all, I think its pretty funny. Cuz it's still not "fast," just a quick street car with lots of careful work. Which is very respectful. But a consistently abrasive personality only takes you so far with people.
Edit: And you still refuse to multi-quote... I'm not so sure you can say that with confidence, considering his engine made more power than your's. And no I'm not perfect, but mine was actually a typo, and not laziness or lack of knowledge .

You have no idea what you are talking about. My gears are perfectly fine on the highway. 65mph I'm below 2500rpms and my exhaust note is low enough to talk at a normal level inside.

What do you run again? My personality....and your the bitch that constantly tries to belittle people when they make a spelling/grammar mistake

I ran 70mph to the track and the car just hummed along. Now I have magnapacks DUMPED and it still isn't loud. Like I said before, you have no idea what you are talking about. Stick to the 5.0s and T5s, then I would agree with you on gears.

So with 420rwhp you trapped 130mph in the 4th with a manual trans. Can someone do the math on what the car would have to weigh in order for this to happen? Some might know more than me but 3200lbs+130mph trap = something other than 420rwhp. Just curious..

Right now? 17.xx? But that really has no bearing on what I said, because I'm not comparing my car to his car. I'm comparing his car to "fast" cars. As of now, his car isn't as fast as a stock Corvette Z06. It's about as quick as PSM's stock 600cc sport bike. Which, again, is very respectful. And faster than anything I've owned. But in the grand scheme of things, it's very "quick." Once his LS7 goes in, that's a completely different conversation.

Yeah in 4th. What gear do you want me to be in? Car should've been about 3200 that day with me and 3/4 tank of gas. That's why I had to change to 3.90's, it was all over the limiter with 4.10's @ 122 mph when the limiter was @ 6800.
