So pissed... I know this probably doesn't belong in this section since we didn't get to actually "race" but oh well. This evening which was a great day, mid 60s in january and no clouds in md, and was going to grab some bread and head home and saw a 80s mustang. Saw a kid driving with some girls so and I've been itching for a race. Mustang boy had a cam and open headers so it sounded like. Pulled up next to him on the route 4 and got next to him and gave him the rev to show im game. He does a ricer flyby and gets buses ahead of me. End up following him for 5 miles to have him turn off to which I followed him another 3 miles (I knew the neiborhood). This guy would NOT line up. Turned off to another road and I gave up. He didn't want to play anymore so I turned around. I was really wanting to show this kid up as he probably thought I was just another turd gen. To bad my ls1 would have demolished him

I have about 30.
Few weeks ago a SRT-8 chally would jump the gun then cut off in 2nd (lol). He was doing this on a curvy road. When my buddy pulled up and told him I'd thrown down $1000 to race him (stock srt8 vs h/c/i at the time 5th gen SS) he said I wasn't worth his time because he has "killed me" already.
Guess a kill for him is just taking off to 60 then stopping when I realize we are racing.

Yep...I've chased morons like this all over town. It's rarely worth it.
I was following a TT Stealth on the freeway, hoping to get next to him and exchange thumbs up. As soon as I pulled next to him, he just took off. I tried to chase, but there was a decent amount of traffic and it was dark out. This guy was easily going 90+ in a construction zone!
Rather humorously, because of the traffic, he never really got away from me, and I got off at the same exit (which luckily was the exit I planned to get off anyways). We were next to each other at the lights at the end of the offramp, both turning left. Didn't get a chance to say anything before he AWD launched it around the corner.
I chased this speeding dickwad all over town until he tried to hide in a bar's parking lot. I finally parked next to him and asked why he was trying to get away from me.
"Oh...I thought you were the cops."

Sorry your POS just really didn't look like it was worth my time. And the girl thought you were a creeper so we GTFO so I could PIIHB. Never lost to a Tree-fitty anyway, you aren't worth my time or gas to race. Mod up and come find me bud.

Sorry not the same. The chick was not my cousin so I was not driving the turd gen. 1988 was a good year... except for turd gens.

Turd gen is a unique term? Sorry we don't type the same way at all(at least I hope not). If my grammar is ever that bad please tell me as I don't want to be confused with HIO.

lets see stock block 80s mustang with a cam and obnoxious open headers flying through traffic? sounds like MAYBE around 280 hp which is being VERY generous(but hey maybe im wrong) vs a ls1 third gen with a cutout, custom cai, and 75 shot just in case? i race for pure fun and you i see were just to scared to get beaten, id take a win or loss reguardless. also my pos? wasnt your passenger side fender bashed in too bud?
