buddy just ran 11.8@119 witrh tune and tires in his 2012 auto. He traded in his manual as well. This was same night I took my car. His best trap was 120 with best 60ft being 1.88...He is now throwing stall/full exhaust/Boss intake/gears in it.

OP good kill. None the ones here will play. I have seen 3 different ones. Two had older guys driving them. Other had a younger guy maybe mid 20's.

So if he ran that with just tune/tire he should have no problem getting in the 10's @ 125mph full-weight. Yeah, right

I thought full bolt on mustangs ran 117-119mph, wow a 119mph with just those two mods is seriously impressive.

I know right? I love coming on here and seeing how fast they are this week it seems that every week the stock and bolt on ones get faster and faster. Pretty soon well have bolt on 5.0s replicating C6 Z06 traps. A stock 5.0 is good for around a 110-112 trap speed thats it. Anything more than that and I'm calling BS or stupid good weather... INB4 ohio posts 53453453 videos of "stock" 5.0s running the 1/4. A stock 5.0 with tires running 11.8 at 119 would trap like an ls3 vette and have a .5 sec lead and we all know how that race would go down in the real world so yaaa...

I wouldnt even say that I think the majority of them run aroun 117 with exhaust, tune, and intake. I mean think about it a 440whp car 3650lbs without a driver isnt going to trap 119-120 sorry.....

The new 470/470 392 SRT8 Challengers are FAST bone stock. They had to pick them up after the 2010s were getting roasted by the Camaros and Mustangs. They are proud of them but they are NICE cars. My buddys cost $50,500.00 out the door....pretty steep.

I have to agree 392 Challengers are no joke. Despite the weight they just flat out make power and move out. Once there on the highway and get that weight rolling they are going to be suprising alot of people. Once someone finally is able to tune these cars and people start doing FULL bolt ons to them, who knows what they will run.

Some of you better go sell your car and buy one then that is only mods he had. DA was -500. There was a full bolt on manual that was running 12.2@118 as well. I talked to him gave him some pointers. Had him move limiter from 7300 to 7800 and shift at 7700. He dropped to 11.7@121. He was slow on shifts and not best driver.he had a 100 shot he never sprayed.

I will tell you what , the new Challenger 392 is indeed a nice car. But! 392 cubes at 60 k only running door to door with a 302 cube Ford stock or not at 32 k, say what you want the Stang is the best bang for the buck.

I like the look of the Challenger. I think its a really cool car, but they are heavy. I saw a supercharged m6 at the track last weekend running high 7s in the 1/8th.

Honestly Im not impressed with the 5th gen camaros...the 5.0s are the ones really making me shake my head..those are nasty right out of the box...then do 1 small mod and a tune and they respond really well. I have watched all of these cars race side by side the past couple weeks.
