Dude, why bring up stuff you don't even know about. The GSXR 1000 can usually slightly outrun a Hayabusa at "sane" speeds if the rider can keep the front end down. And btw, up until 2004 the Suzuki GSXR 1000 has been much faster than the Yamaha YZF-R1. Hell, the GSXR 750 would run side-by-side with the R1 and in some cases beat it. The newer R1s are putting out SLIGHTLY more peak hp (like 3-4 hp) than the GSXR 1000; the GSXR 1000, however, a lot more midrange than the R1. The R1 also has a tall first gear (100-105mph in 1st gear). In that case, the 1000 will probably beat the R1 up to around a buck fifty or so. The new Kawasaki ZX-10R will probably out accelerate the other liter bikes (assuming equal riders).

Here is a list on another forum of some of that fastest bikes in the DFW area(top 6 posted times). Show me your list.

1 AnotherRedHeadBusa 6.12@119.89mph (1.61)1300cc M6 NA
2 AnotherRedHead 2000 ZX12 6.22@119.8mph (1.62) 1200cc M6 NA
3 Cmarsh93z ZX12 6.46@116mph (1.73) 1200cc M6 NA
4 BLACK-HT 2003 954 RR 6.64@111mph (1.73) 954 cc M6 NA
5 Slowbra2002' busa 6.65@111mph (1.76) 1200cc M6 NA
6 Sam88Gta1 2002 R1 6.72@111mph (1.80) ????cc M6 NA

Well see no GSXR's here. Guess they aren't as fast as the busa's, ZX12's, or R1's. Yeah, and like I said I only trapped 100 in the eighth because I ran out of gear. If I had 28-in slicks instead of 27-in, I would of ran faster et the 6.8 and better trap speed. You just talk and don't have any proof of what you say. It is easy to do that, even for an idiot.

And to everyone who doubts, it is amusing that you don't believe me. Oh, well. I know what the **** I did and so do you.

LOL, those are the fastest bikes who post on LS1.com. You do know there is a world beyond ls1.com and ls1tech.com, don't you?

What proof do I need? You are saying R1s are faster than GSXR1000s because there is a guy who is ranked 6th in DFW on LS1.com who has an R1. Wow, that is proof in itself that GSXR1000s are slower. You are ridiculous. By your logic, 954s are faster than GSXR 1000s too?

Btw, I'm sure those gears would have gotten you 20+mph in the 1/8th

No not LS1.com or LS1tech. Keep trying. And, no not 20 mph, probably 4 or so. My logic tells me that gsxr's aren't the fastest out there and yes, I did hang with one. I also have a quarter mile list with no gsxr's. Not saying there aren't any capable, just none that post in the DFW area. Like I said, show me the proof man cause it is getting boring talking.

OK. If this guy was a decent bike rider and it was 1/4 mile race than the GXR1000 would have won NO MATTER WHAT. BUT, I have heard at high mph, the steet bikes have increasingly diminshing returns in rates of acceleration than cars. I'm not sure about this case, but it is something to consider.

Just some proof of a GSXR running 9's in the quarter or 6's in the eighth.

I didn't say I beat one, just that I hung with one. And in that reply I was wanting you to provide proof that gsxr's run 9's in the quarter or 6's in the eighth. Man, I would love to give you a ride in my car on the highway while spraying. You've probably never been that fast before. That might make you a believer.

go troll www.cycleforums.com or www.sportbikeworld.com i am sure that u could find something on either of those. im also sure u could find one in the DFW area to play with. i thought u said that u pulled him 1/4 of a car? isnt that beating him? ur right i have never been that fast, however im on my way. i just dont think u understand how fast bikes really are. i didnt either until i started reading those two forums and found out how freaking fast they really are.

Never mind. I added the dot com and browsed them both. Found only one quarter mile time, some chick ran a 10.8 in some bike.

Well maybe I can settle this. My buddy has a 1000 and he had it at the track last night. He ran a 7.2 with a completely stock bike. Keep in mind that he weighs about 250 so a smaller rider could hit 6's completely stock. This is with him barely keeping the front end down all the way down the track.

There was another 1000 there with an extended swing arm running 6.2's. Bikes all depend on the rider. If he has ***** and can ride there aren't many cars that are gonna hang with them.

What gears do you have in you car? 4:11? If so is your car even capable of 150 mph? I've got 4:11's and I top out 5th gear at about 145 and 6th really doesn't pull much. Granted my car doesn't have the horsepower yours does but I can't see how 6th gear would pull very much even with that much hp.

At the time I raced him, I had 3.42's with 27-in qtp's. 4th topped out at a little above 150. I didn't even go into 5th or 6th obviously.
