The 5th gens would respond great to gear due to such a tall tire. I have taken some gear out of my car and I am not much of a believer in alot of gear. Alot of gear only really works good when someone is down on power or a drag only set-up. It can hurt a street car as much as it helpd a drag car.

Oh damn automach is at it again LMFAO!! I'm not suprised at the results at all. If a stock SRT8 can out run bolt on machs a 10'ss can do the same. All this Mach 1 busniess is getting lame. The machs are 0-2 this week and about to be 0-3. I'm racing the same Mach 1 I put 4+CL's on during our highway runs. He Added Some bolt ons and tires. He's so persistent about running again but I keep telling him those mods won't make up for those 4 car lengths. From a dig he will get the jump but I will reel him in quick once we get rolling. Nice kill op

Yes I agree there tires are huge 29 I think. I am very much a believer in alot of gear from low rolls and digs i think it makes a car that much harder to beat. Only time it may hurt is if you have to put it in a higher gear but that is why roll racing can be deceiving.

Explain, Machs are ******* slow... End of story! Go get a manual put headers, intake, tune, pulley and Ill show you, he'll even put some tires on it. I think you must be kidding, first off I don't think my SS is some super fast ****, cuz its not. But give me a break, I have raced a few in this car so far and it wasn't even close. Last one I raced was running low 13s high 12s with Boltons, welds, drag radials ect, he got rapped 3 out of 3 on the top end of the track. From what I remember he was trapping 107 maybe to my 112-113, on the street forget it. Just what happen in this vid is what it is.
