Hell my car ran faster than when I first got it and was learning how to drive it. Out trapped you too! Hell, why don't we just go ahead and make it $40,000. I'm calling in sick tomorrow and should be in Ohio sometime around 6pm. And we are going to do a 80-195mph run, best of 4 runs. Will have to find someone to flag us off.

I sure would have loved filling that thing over my truck. Drove that 320 mi each way to Chicago and back this last weekend and ugh at the gas I had to pay
Although, I still love the truck over the winter. Probably going to keep a suv/truck as a DD. Looking into a Duramax

Yep, I get around 250~300miles (camaro) on a fill if I'm not trying to save gas, it blows sometimes, but **** having a car that cant get out of its own way, I feel a lack of power is WAY more dangerous then too much, if I had to have drive aggressively to avoid a wreck in the civic I would have been in a crash for sure lol

I like reading a GOOD kill now and then to. Not some made up garbage on how a stock ls1 raped a new z06 from a roll. However, videos are also very good . Sometimes you just forget your camera/phone.

Hey OP, since no one has bothered to mention it too you I'll tell you the honest to god truth about the camaro/firebird (known as Fbodies) that came with a LS1: it was the same LS1 the corvettes had, making the same 350hp. Bone stock LS1's dyno 295-310rwhp.... and the normal difference to get from SAE factory rated crank or "wheel" horsepower to rear wheel horsepower on a chassis dyno is 15% loss for a stick shift car, 20% loss for a auto.
So No, it's not a 305hp engine you have there, it's a 350hp engine classically underrated.

Couldn't agree more...I walked a stock cat back 02'camaro. 60-125 was really bad for him. Mod up OP and you will really enjoy the car alot more.

you should have ran my s13, had a sr20 with a gt2871r 788cc injectors, dyno tuned for 50% 93 and 50% 110 octane at 19 pounds did 354 whp, not much but for a stock internal 2.0 liter engine it ran with the pros, lol but i had plenty of ls 240s put me to shame so i came to the dark side sold my sr and i am currently putting in an ls
but a stock sr like the guy you raced was probably around 200 horsies, at 7 pounds its the weight the car the only reason why he even kept up like u say

I was thinking tsp long tubes, ory, nice catback, lid, free mods, a dyno tune for 93 octane, and I might get a 100 shot for fun. I've got a lot to learn about nitrous before I make that decision tho. I'm not planning on h/c yet as it will be my dd for a couple of years.
And I don't even care that some guys are being harsh, I'm just enjoying a nice car that I worked for.
