ive raced plenty of em from a roll, beat em all. but if the kids scared his best bet is to go from a dig or low roll so he doesnt have to worry about it. it could always be a 50 trim full bolton srt and he wouldnt know it from the sound of things

okay, whats your point? i know they were underrated for insurance purposes.
doesnt change the fact that no srt will make over 300whp on a stock turbo without e85 or meth, or horseshoes up his *** and the touch of god all at once lol
edit: just read OPs post later in the thread about the guy babbling about a waste gate... if he has the AGP wastegate he can run higher boost... still wont make over 300whp, but then there might be a race there

if this helps my lil bros old s2srt4 would run 9.00x in the 1/8th in bad air while a stock a4 ls1 would run mid to low 9's. my sti ran 8.604 (1.6 60 ft) as a best in our crappy air stock, while my gmpp stage 2 solstice gxp ran a 8.903 as a best. (just sayin bad air and crappy track prep is a factor here for the less than perfect times) from a roll his s2srt4 ran on a c5 vette till 140 when the vette came around us and we had 3 guys in our car, those big engine turbo 4's are nothin the laugh at when they are kicked up a notch from factory. imo op better mod up alittle and get it on camera

Yea I'm not new to all this, I just know nothing about neons, I've just heard they were fast. I'd love to beat him in a stock t/a. So far all I know is 18# of boost. It's a run for fun, but it's still gunna hurt my pride a little bit to loose to a neon. I'm new to the auto, in my six speed car I could just throw it into first or second and hammer it. Or whatever gear I needed. I just picked up lower contr arms, will those help? Or not enough to matter.

stage 2 srt is a different computer, map&tip sensors, and a wastegate. which allows for 18psi. most stage 2s, assuming he has other mods as well on pump gas, should be low 13s, ive seen 13.3 @112 before, but thats with a good driver.
i still say youll get him for sure from a dig, but i still think youll get him from a roll, just make sure youre at your peak in second gear or something so you dont spin.

srts are actually really reliable stock from the factory stg 1 2 or 3..
a friend just tore down his 460whp build and is in the process of buying a whole block/head/intake mani and already has his precision turbo... i think hes selling that though too... anyways hes shooting for the sky with hope of around 6-700 whp... which is most definitely possible.
my neon i had was a 1st gen, i used a completely stock srt set up with an agp gate, never dynod it but on 14psi its usually around 250-260 whp...
