Hio, what stock LS6 will make 426whp & 405wtq (per numbers in your sig) when they are rated at 405 flywheel hp & 400 ft lb ??? I do know the LS6 was underrated some, but not by nearly 100hp.

No, I was comparing when my car was just ls6 swapped with normal t56, Mac headrers with ory and a stock catback , pre weight reduction too.....hell even stock gears. Thats how I know op's bud with ls6 swap is f-ed up in some way.

Think about it dude. A full bolt-on ls1 can make up to about 365rwhp with excellent bolt-ons and tune. A ls6 is rated at about 60HP more......I'll let you do the math .

ok, heres my contribution. my car when i bought it had a k&n fipk and a flowmaster cat back. weighed in at 35xx without me in it. a4 with 3.23 gears. my buddy has an 00 z28 a4. at the time we ran he had full exhaust (headers to dumped x pipe), egr removed (ls1 intake) a gm "hot cam", shift kit, and a stall, im pretty sure it was a 3400 cant remember, and some weight reduction, i know he said his car was 33xx without him in it. a week before i ran him i took my car to the track, i ran a horrible 13.8 @102. his car ran a 12.71 @110. when i ran him from 25 he got me by 2 cars and he got the hit. i can see the ls6 getting beat by the ls1 depending on gear/tire/wheel combo. not likely but anything can happen on the street. but i raced my buddy jamie in his 02 ss that we all know has an ls6 from a 20 and he came around me easy.

Ok, I suppose it can happen. But how common is an all stock LS6 making 426 at the wheels? Think about it... That's most stock cubes LS1/6 with H/C, stock LS6 intake & bolt-ons territory.
And for the record I don't think your a retard, just kind of a cocky smartass per many of your previous posts. But if that's just how you are, then so be it

I can tell this is starting some drama so I will be very clear ...
My car:
Ls1 stock
Stock t56
Stock rear 2.73
Headers into an x pipe
SLP lid w/ K&N filter

His car:
Ls6 short block, ls6 cam, 243 heads stock, ls6 intake
Stock t56
Stock rear 3.42
Tuned
AR headers, ory, flowmaster catback
Air lid w/ K&N filter

Idk what more you want to know ... We both know how to drive and we both have brand new tires so that's it, I didn't win by much the nose of his car was at the rear bumper of my car

Thanks......I think.

It's pretty common for a ls6 to go over 400 rwhp. I've seen a couple others go 410 or so. Most guys don't do every bolt-on like I have. Plus I have made my own exhaust and ported my own fast. Sometimes the devil is in the details.

Ya know R6 I actually think a ls6 could get to 450 rwhp. e85, 1.8 rr and springs and a fast 102 or a carb intake with a elbow or one of those new Holley/edelbrock intakes and I think it could be done.....it would be one nasty bitch with broad flat power.
