1998 Z28 vs 2003 350Z
'98 Z28: K&N filter, otherwise bone stock. A4
'03 350Z: Bone stock. M6
First race: Three honks, 350Z gets the hit, 20-90. Z28 by buses, 350Z driver forgot to shift to second gear.
Second race: Three honks, no hit given, 20-90. Z28 by a solid five or six cars, all went well with the 350Z according to him.
I really didn't plan on taking him like I did. I expected worse on my end. It's also noteworthy that I'm struggling with some kind of fuel issue.

Thanks y'all. The 350Z owner is a longtime friend of mine, so I won't slam him. Especially because his car is clean and his future mod list doesn't include ricey crap. The fact he respects all cars is a big plus too. He's a really good guy!

nothing surprising about this outcome.. when my TA was stock down to the paper filter. i ran a 8.6 in the 1/8th a friend of mine at the base i was stationed at never broke under 9.0 in his 2005 350z with intake, full exhaust, gears and nittos. there sharp cars. but he wont gain any decent power unless he goes FI or nitrous.
I miss my 370z sometimes and the compliments i got on it daily

i had the misfortune of dirving one to deliver to a customer a couple of days ago. Its a quick car but rides harsh, my camaro has suspension mods and rides better, lol, the seats are TERRIBLE especially leather. My back was killing me by the time i got to the guys house and had to stretch which is the first, lol. Again its not a bad car nor slow but definitly doesnt stand a chance with the LS1 in a straights.
