The 2V PI heads were 99-04. I had a 03 GT with under drive, prof.products tb,elbow&spacer,Xpipe,Mack cat back, spec stage 2 and 3.73's. The car ran 13.2's all day on 315/35/17 street tire and 12.70's on et streets. First through third felt good in the car but felt like it lost its get up go in 4th.
Not defending the mustangs but if that's a head and cam Stang and running 13's something is wrong.
I own a 02 M6 NBM formula now, can't beat it for power and gas. But I did enjoy the sound of the Stang rolling through the gears.

No way 8 or 9 psi adds almost 300rwhp to a stock 2v.

Yeah, I'm also calling BS on this. BIG TIME BS. My friend built a Heads (fully CNC'd PI's)/Cams/Full bolt on(seriously full bolt on, everything) with a 15psi 2.6 KB and he makes 550rwhp. There is no way anyone in the history of engine building broke the 500rwhp mark with 8psi on a stock 2v. I would bet my car on it.

His only "major" engine mod is cams. Tires, suspension, and gears is really helping him out.

I rode in the car and watched the boost never get over 9lbs. I've been under the hood and its stock. He had a upr intake on it,he said it would heat soak. With the upr on it, it made like 486. Right now the car has the stock intake on it. But your right he has a upr tb and elbow. Henson tuning in Birmingham tuned the car. Check it out for yourself.

Yea kinda, took it to the 1/8 track and the stock Rearend let go. But it tripped the lights with a 8.41@95. He just put coil overs on the front this past weekend and going to build the rearend. I said something to him about the block holding that kinda power and I was told he had another block and parts to build a forged bottom end. He was just going to let this one eat till it was done.

Do it then when you buy your new project. I kind of threw around the idea of wanting to pick up Joe's old 95 383 LT1 TA. It would definitely shut up some naysayers around where I'm from about LT1's
However, I'll stick with my original plan on a GS
