It never ceases to amaze me how people can twist the meaning of a post or thread, just because they didn't read carefully enough.

Jeebus, get off the f*%kin time slip topic. No one is talking about that.
On another, topic related, note. All of the TBSS guys will be happy to know that the TBSS from the videos in the first post took his truck back to the tuner and they drove around for a couple of hours and found some burst knock, and the tuner took care of him and he was MUCH happier with the performance of his truck, especially off the line.
So a couple of days before he moved to Florida, we ran again. This time with no passengers and at night time. We used his Go Pro mounted on the driver side of his rig. Once he gets settled into his new place, he is going to email me the files of our race videos. I will post them here when I get them.
I think you will be surprised by the results. Eh probably not. More excuses will just come out. Stay tuned for the video though.

I finally got around to finding the thread over on the SS site. It's good to see you aren't just a tool on here and it shows itself on other forums as well. I thought about joining up to defend myself, but then realized idgaf. Plus didn't want to troll over there with you when we are having so much fun over here.
There is a small difference between being cocky and being confident in your car. I consider myself the latter.
I seriously laughed out loud at the people implying that I was either hiding mods or that I was spraying. I don't make money racing, so why would I lie about my mods? Haha
At least that JD guy seems to not have his head up his ***. One of the few TBSS guys not in denial about what the TBSS is capable of, or not capable of. Hopefully he posts the vids of the races though. I'd like to see them from a different perspective.

Obviously that was not a typical result of a basically stock SRT8 vs a TBSS with those mods as has been pointed out by several people. I'm not saying you lied about your mod's. I'm just very surprised by the video.
I owned an 06 TBSS (traded it for my Z28 2 months ago) with CAI, UDP, Headers, cut-out, 3200 stall, dyno tuned to 348awhp. I only got 1 chance to run a stock SRT8 and handed his *** to him pretty hard from a dig, let off at 85ish with about 4 lengths in hand. From what I've read when I was a member on TBSSowners.com these results were pretty typical. The red flag is his LOW dyno numbers, 298awhp? (i think) thats way low for those mods, and would indicate something wrong with the truck which is why he lost so bad.
No disrepect for the SRT8, stock for stock they will take a AWD SS.

I've only talked to two srt8 owners who had track times. One was a 13.10 and the other a 12.9x, both stock. With the tbss starting a good distance behind in stock form I don't see them hanging mod for mod. I will have some track numbers soon for mine but I'm pretty sure it will barely be a 12 second ride.

I forgot to mention that the stock 20's on TBSS's slow them down a ton, I dropped .3 sec off my ET (13.2 to a 12.9) just by switching to 17's and a slightly shorter tire. Something to consider....
BTW that was before I did the 3200 stall. YES that was a bolt-on TBSS in the 12's! I never got to run it with the stall but it felt alot stronger.
If anyone claims that there is a stronger aftermarket for the SRT8 they are retarded. Stock for stock Jeep wins.... Mod for mod... TBSS wins. Period.
This is coming from a non-brand-biased automotive engineer.

The TBSS in my videos only has a muffler delete for exhaust mods. Hardly the gains one would get from Headers. If he would have had Headers, I know for a fact that he would have pulled me.

With radials and 22s I would imagine maybe a 12.8. Sure I could add alittle suspension, good drag radials, pull a few nonessential things out of the tbss so I could brag about what it would run at the track only to get beaten on the street by slower cars. I'm more interested in how my vehicles run when I pull up to a light than what it does "prepped" for the track.

True I know headers help alot on a TBSS, what are typical gains for headers on a GCSRT8? Not sure how restrictive the stock manifolds are.
