I disagree. Fastest 1/4 mile cars are RWD. Weight and drivetrain loss take major role when racing on a prepped surface with purpose built cars.

However, on the street those lambos are nasty. Doesn't LMR have a 1800hp+ C6 that they drive on the street. I'd like to see that match up.

Correct. The auto is killing the power on that car. Swap a F1X on the vette and it would be a whole new ball game or better yet put a manual in it. TTG's are sick no matter what you do though. My friend raced the Yellow TTG that Dallas Performance built while we were at TX2K12 and it was a good race. I have all the footage but you guys will have to wait for the release of either out video or 1320's

there is no beating the TT gallardos. they have the perfect platform . 1500+whp at all 4 tires with a paddle shift. they will beat every bike and car in their path. and the only thing that can compete is something with a better awd e-gear platform. this is ONLY on the street. but they are the fastest cars out there hands down. no vette, supra, camaro, mclaren, etc is going to take them down on the street. i dont know why people bother running up against them. closest car to date was a 1400whp supra that beat a TT gallardo on 1500whp but the gallardo turned it up and whipped it.

on the drag strip its a whole different ball game rwd will win.

The supra that a TTG was seafish's supra that beat SW's Lambo but his makes 1250 not 1500. It was the UGR R that came back and beat the supra and it was making 1500.

^my mistake i had read a bit about it on 6speedonline. i had thought they were the same car. either way it was impressive to see a rwd take down one of the gallardo's. its is a very hard task when fighting traction at 100+mph

i'll say it again, AGERA-R vs. ugr-R vs. venom GT vs. veyron SS VS. AMS ALPHA 12 GTR...should be awesome, but where the hell would they have enough room for it???...i agree the venom should take it, but the veyron ''averaged'' 268mph, meaning in a two way race it easily topped 268 in one of the two runs...imagine that...

Just sayin......its not impossible. Theres cars/bikes out there that will take them down from a roll. Its just nobody has went after it with something that really has a chance. That 2200hp Vette in the FI section would definitely have a chance. As said, its more a battle for traction than anything.

JBHOTROD...i don't believe so, about them still using the ford modular engine...but i could be wrong, as it says in EXOTIC CARS 2012 that the AGERA-R is using a 5.0 twin turbocharged engine...they also state that the 5.0 is a '' new in house 5.0 '' so my assumption is that it's a koenigsegg 5.0, not a ford...940hp...1115hp on e85...7-speed smg tranny...

NOLAG05...the AGERA-R does it for me, sorry not a venom gt fan, but respect the hell out of what i can do, but remember the veyron is a complete car, has everything in it weight wise, and at over 4000lbs it still hauls ***...anyone can make a lightweight fast, what bugatti did with that much weight is impressive, like watching an offensive lineman run the 40 in 4.1 seconds...lololol...don't count out the AGERA-R...that thing put football fields on that ferrari 458...you couldn't see the AGERA from the 458's view...and the 458 run's 11.00 flat ...

I am coming back to the American muscle side of the house...lol. Still have my jdm muscle but i love the ZR1! The Venom is a lotus frame that they strecth like three feet for all the mods to fit. I would have to test drive both one after the other to decide(not that i have that kinda cash...lol). Dont get it twisted... i respect the bugatti SS but it would a biatch to do oil changes on her or Agera...lol. The Venom i can roll up to my local Chevy dealer and get it knocked out...lol. LSX TT for the win!
