So your car runs 8.2, wow my Mach 1 almost did that when it was basically stock. Infact I bet I can do nothing but $200 worth of mods (non power) on a stock Mach 1 and run that.

Anyways, no I don't think your car can or has run 7.9. Prove me wrong

Bottom line is no mach 1 with those mods is close to 8.2 here.... Almost all full bolt on geared Drag radial mach's are running 8.5-8.6 at our track so like I said it doesn't matter what you run there or what I run here. If you haven't ran me saying your faster is dumb.

Here is a Full bolt on, cams, gears, DR mach 1 going 7.99@91 at our track

NiteRider, did you actually run the 1/4 mile time in your sig in the SRT8 or is it just an estimate?

I'm surprised you're over 300 with what you had listed in your sig. You still have cats? I would've guessed 290/315.

I think he actually ran that 1/8 but the 1/4 is a calculation cause its an 1/8 mile track. But that seems to be pretty spot on as far as 1/8 to 1/4 goes. My mustang went 8.0@86? in the 1/8 and 12.60@110 in the 1/4.

Pref let it be a Auto so there isnt any excuses if you do beat it.
+1 want to see it on vid.

IDK stoppy. Those SRT8's run pretty strong. When I was a bolt-on car I raced a bolt-on SRT8 from a roll. After 3 honks he would get about 1.5-2 cars out on me then around 80-90mph I would start to reel him back in and pass him around 110mph. Not sure what he trapped in the 1/4 but my car was trapping at 107mph and ran a 12.60 at the time..

Nice, what was the 10s combo? Also, if you were to go FI would you go to a 03-04 Cobra block or just use what you have? Whats the difference between the Mach and Cobra blocks? Would you go turbo or blower? Also, if for whatever reason the Mach engine wasnt up to snuff(too weak, etc) and had to go with a different engine altogether, would it be cheaper to do up a 351W or a 4.6L or a 5.4L? Are 351C`s good for forced induction?

Sorry for the 21 questions.

Since this is a BS thread anyway, thought I'd drop a video of my Fox from last weekend. I'm sure the Va. boys would like it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyplV...layer_embedded

My 2nd time to the track with it since I put it back together . I had bad tire rub after the 1/8th mile, so I was letting off and coasting through the 1/4.

So what did you run like a 14.80 or something like that.. Couldn't see the #'s at the end of the track so I figured it was open to interpretation.. Nice looking Fox.. I'm looking at a 1987 just like that one with no engine or tranny. Full suspension and a built 8.8 for $1000.00

Honestly on that run the clocks for my lane screwed up and it was showing crazy numbers. It showed my 60 ft. was a 2.43 and a 7.48 1/8mile and a 11.91 1/4.

The difference between the blocks is the Machs are aluminum and have crappy internals where the Cobras are iron and built to handle abuse.
