The mag's times are pretty much spot on with what these cars are putting up at the track. Actually, guys are going a couple tenths quicker at prepped drag strips, so in reality, most mag times are a tad slower. Just like when the LS1 debuted and most mags were getting low to mid 13's, or LT1's for that matter going low-mid 14's. I'd say the mag s numbers are pretty damn close 95% of the time. Surprised you would make a noobish comment like that.
