Yes but having 4 adjustable cams, you can change cam timing to bleed off compression for boost. The highest ive seen is 23psi on meth with an untouched motor

It's too bad we don't have E85 around here. High boost + high compression on E85 is a ticket for massive power with surprising safety if done carefully...but you're not going to boost it anyway, right Evan?

literally bolt on 3.6 kenne bell on 16 psi. This car has ran 21psi on the dyno but never at the track. Make another 100whp on 21psi. Imagine this car with an actual setup behind the motor and a decent driver. 10.8 at 141.

Blower kits are only $4200 for those cars?!

4200 to 6500 is the range for prices on boost. Kenne bell and turbo is most expensive.

but dont worry i wont be boosting it any time soon. Atleast not until its paid off. For now, its headers, driveshaft, front suspension, and wheels and tires. I wanna use what i was given from the factory before trying to double the hp and having a useless car.

I'll run it the following weekend if he's willing to meet part way. I won't be here this coming weekend. Is he looking for a dig, roll, or both? 130 trap should make for a fun run with the 600.

hes a roll guy. He likes the 50 rolls. He put a couple cars on my GTO and i put a couple cars on that vortech FRC.... but that was before he was fully tuned so who knows how strong that vette is now in comparison. Beans will take the 403. Your 600 should be a really close race for him.

Most 130ish cars I've run were great runs, so I'd definitely be down if he is. Rolls work. Digs work. He picks a start speed, I pick a start speed. Whatever, it's all good for me.

Sounds good. Have you had it on a dyno? Do you have weight reduction? Gearing? Just curious.

There are so many bad riders out there that you'd have to race dozens of them in random encounters just to hopefully get one or two with competent riders. It's just how it is. A lot of guys don't seriously race their bikes, whether on a drag strip or at a road course; they just like to cruise around and/or look cool. There's no serious intent aside from a fun ride or maybe to pick up some girls.

And even the ones that do like to mess around a bit typically don't realize just how far you can drop gears, how to control them at those high RPMs, where the best shift points are, or how much things like bad (or no) tucking affects the performance, especially at higher speeds. There's this massive misconception that even if a 600 runs away from you down low, you'll catch it and walk by at 100mph because they hit a wall there. That's not even close to accurate on modern 600's, but there's enough poor riding out there to make it believable (and even realistic with your average rider on one).

That's just how it goes, I guess. But it does make it more fun for me when I hear someone running their mouth about how 600's are nothing. There are plenty of cars out there that will (and do) beat me, but it's typically the guys with the slower cars who are more ignorant to reality. They're always left scratching their heads or asking me "Is that a 1000?! Or just a 750?" as if me saying 750 would really disappoint them...

Well said!!!
