I have raced the late model VR-4's and I won by a few cars. They jumped off the line a little better then I did, but I was quick to reel them in and bet them by a few lengths. Never raced any heavily modded ones. Mostly just catbacks and bolt ons. They look nice, but I'd prefer to have a late model Supra anyday.

so you see the "gto"/ 3000gt is plain heavier.

Sometimes CURB weight is not the same as "weight" as in the link you sent, but believe the GTR is the lightest out of these.

that's why the r32 is known in japan as Godzilla.

Also don't hold your breath on Paul walker or whoever and how fast they WILL make that vr-4.

the vr-4 was out in 1992 and you just don't see Many fast ones at all. why?

there are MORE 10 second Talon/eclipses than 3000gts.

the Subaru sti is the TRUE monster. 300 Pounds of torque.

there are many vettes and supras with 1000hp, some f-birds and camaros got there as well. Many GTRs and HUNDREDS of Hemis and BB and Sb chevys. also turbo Fords.

the vr4 is a nice fast Grand Tourer, like a s4 without the luxury or power. and a bit heavier.

I agree, although most do consider DSMs to be the Eclipse, Talon, or Laser. You can't forget the Galant VR-4 guys(that one was a real looker ). I personally think the 3000gt looks good and runs decent, but I would still rather have Trans-Am

 

well, my ppd is kinda low, but I think that is because of my times when I first joined of not posting at all... Jon, gotta remember that Gray is a mod, so it is his job to *****.
