el cheapo open element air filter, 6 inch maybe 7
Intake = Free ( ebay maybe 20 bucks )
MSD Superconductor Wires + NGK Coppers = $81 ( www.importpoweronline.com )
Stillen Downpipe = $300 ( 380 new, used for 500 miles got it used. )
ProBoost Manual Boost Controller = $10 shipped
9 bucks can go to gas I wasted.... That's 400 by my count...
That leave 300 for a South Bend DXD-C pucked racing clutch. When you pay cash, the price drops.

Well....you apparently are successful at finding cheap parts that seem to work...LOL! Anyway, props to you for being resourceful. Your car also looks stock -another good thing. Mine looks almost stock, except for the Apex'i D-2 Exhaust...which I bought because looks very close to stock.
Good luck on the 12 (hopefully low 12) second time -- I'll be watching for that post.

he was pointing at his avatar picture, which on this particular screen appears above his post. i think on one of my other computers it's to the left. may have something to do with resolution or some setting somewhere in the board.

Alright, well I'm good friends with StealthXtreme and went with him to the track today. He ran a 12.93 at 15psi. That was the only change he made because the downpipe was sealed on and it wouldn't come off. As far as the cheap clutch price it helps when one fo your local friends is a test vehicle for South Bend Clutch and brought the owner a lot of sales. Also the owner likes it when you pay cash so he'll give you a little bit off.
Also StealthXtreme raced my brother in his 98 TA that ran a 13.2 but has intake and short throw shifter now. They went 10-80 and in 2nd they were about even and in 3rd my brother pulled him pretty bad.

Good job on breaking the 12-second barrier. I would guess you are close to the end of your current "cheap" mods list w/ a high 12-second time. At 15 psi, there isn't much, if any, room to boost more. I'm sure that you will go low 12's and even 11's someday with that car, but it'll cost ya....

this is a race between GTR 33 vs GTO MR ..
both are stock and 96

please learn to create a proper sentence before posting again. and honestly who races 0-60? sorry doesn't compare to 2001 ss buddy. a vr4 is not a luxury car unless the made like a vr4 brougham edition or some thing
