You know, now that I think about it more. Maybe he wasn't taking it all the way to redline in each gear. Which made him lose momentum, and in turn made it so you were able to creep up to him ever so sloooowly.

^^^^^ yea.....cause if you don't turn a 4v 4.6 atleast 500rpm past peak power they don't run as good.

they actually run best if you bounce each gear off the rev limiter a few times before you shift.

I had my rev limiter on my Mach set to 8500-rpm so that when I shifted with the 5.88 gears out back, it would still be in the meat of its powerband. Car was stock too!

Glad you finally saw the light. Good for you guy!

Actually, I see those 5.0s have been giving the Termy's a good run for their money. You might want to consider trading it in for the 5.0.

Just my opinion, if you want to discuss trading in cars..

Actually, i see the new VW Jetta has been giving you Mach 1 owners a hard time. You want to look into that, if you want to talk trading cars...

I won't do that because my transmission in the Termy actually holds up unlike the new 5.0's... As far as being faster I have yet to see their taillights but I know there will be some out there that are faster than my DD. However, my WS6 will still show most its taillights and it is just an old 346 pushrod motor with a little P1SC pushing 8 psi...

On a serious note I think I will trade for an Evo since they are so badass.
