I don't have a 1/4 car ....never claimed to. If I did it would go well into the tens.

I don't think 1/4 cars and street racing have alot in common. think about it before you spout off. We just watched a bunch of vids of veryiing from digs on a unprepped surface to different mph rolls. So get off my *******.

Maybe you can't drive so you like to take that out of the equation.

There is a road two counties over from us that is a dead endish road that is marked off for 1/4 mile racing . The road was paved about 10 years ago and has virtually no traffic on it...hooks good for a street.
The bad is you have to slip down to it because it is a well known location for street racing.

O I did get "drugged" by packy but before you talk make sure you can run with him as well (rwhp peps) I get to the car hang out and told guys about the race and showed them videos... first thing I heard.. from a guy in a maroon gto.. Yep, packy's car is slow.. I know someone that beat him a few time's. It's not fast at all... coming from a h/c only gto that I offered to run against but his "gears are grinding". Before you say a build is slow.. please run him.. That's coming from one of your rwhp boys packy..
Good runs indeed with no early shutdown on a short road. Tell that maroon GTO I will be at coastal on Friday he can see how slow I am. Funny thing is he has never ran me but thanks for the heads up. Your Vette moves out well for a geared H/C/I car. It is another example of 3900lbs vs 3200lbs, run what ya brung though huh. I always said my next car would be a Vette for the power to weight they offer.

I think 3900 vs 3200 is a bit of a exaggeration. Remember the vette has a passenger and you were rollin on big/littles . That vette should weigh in at a little over 3200 and your car should be no more than 3600......both w/o driver/pass.

3900lbs?!? Is your car a Vert? I must have missed that. If its a hardtop I would think ~3700. The vette should be closer to 3300lbs.

Packy.. I ran that maroon gto when he had cam only and a monster stage 3.. I was near stock and I beat him by a fender. He claimed his clutch was slipping.. I was referring to him when I said before u talk about a build being slow.. Run him.. Apparently he done some work to it since then but it's still a stock bottom end so I'm assuming it's still a mid-low 12sec car if he's a decent driver..the maggie gto tried getting him to run but he wouldn't. watch out though... He knows someone that knows someone that could beat you?... W/e. btw yal... I only had a passenger for few runs

Sounds like ya'll need some driving lessons! imstock...seat time does wonders for you at the track, i had to put about 100 passes on my formula before i could ever get the car to anywhere near its potential at the track, from running 11.3-11.4 on a fresh set of stickies, to runnin that on my 18" street tires with no other changes. Just keep practicing and you'll be able to feel out the car and make some decent passes. Packy... cobras aint **** with or without the blower

Hey funnyman,

Stick to German crap...

I have a coupe for the un-observant one. I weigh 185 lbs. + a generous 3740lb car = 3925lbs. or so. When my car was shipped recently it weighed 3740 with a 1/4 tank of gas.

Vette has some things removed not much but he did some creative things to reduce his weight a little. I forgot what he said but he estimated it at around 31XX ish lbs. He is a bit smaller than me. I would guess maybe 155-165lbs (Imstock2 it's a guess) + 3200lb car = 3365lbs Damn I was off by a small margin. Forgive me I got a "C" in College Math.

Brandon I know that is why I am looking for a Honduh wif 2-H22's to make a hybrid H44 V-8... Mad tight yo!

No worries here bro it is just a little DD, but what do you have that makes you rate running your mouth. Oh I see now you sold your '03 Cobra and went for a luxury sedan. You're cool. I dusted plenty of those AMG's when I was living in the Netherlands... LOL!

Actually, after 8 long years I sold my low 10-second, Ported Heaton/75-shot Cobra for a low 10-second '02 SS, then I sold that to make room for my '07 S550 which I purchased from the same dealer that bought my old C63. Then traded that for my '11 S550 AWD, at last that was traded for my current Benz. After owning 8 Mustangs, 2 3rd gens, several old schools, and a L98 C4, I grew tired of the whole muscle car thing. Now I enjoy cruising my bike and putting women with huge asses in the back of my big body, though I am starting to get that "itch" again.

I smile.. that so? then they be like well maybe not.. your car sounds like a stage 3 vette... ? ??

First of all, you're wrong. Second, you're wrong again. On my SS I did everything on that car except the rotating assembly, head porting, and ring & pinion in the 8.8.

Lastly, I doubt "Packy" had much building to do with a KB and a few bolt-ons.

Try again.

I bolted up the diff. cover, swapped the injectors out, and re-tuned with SCT. Also it is a Whipple 2.3 not a KB. I really have not had to do much to it since the day I bought it from the Mercedes dealership. Just change the oil and tires when needed. The guy who had it before me traded it in for a E55 AMG. LOL!

There is a WS6 next to his Cobra in his signature, that is his "race car" and the one that he "built".

LoL, and I am the one accused of being a Troll
